Hey Guys

I am new to this forum have been reading it for a few weeks now
I Got married in India in October
Once I cam back I started getting my file together to sponsor my wife
I sent my file through a lawyer and it got there December 7th

When can I expect my first for of communication from Canadian side?

Hi Harvandjas,,

You can visit Cic.gc.ca and check your sponsorship status there . Usually they send Sponsership approval within 2 months . You will hear something end of January or first week Feb. Good luck harvandjas.

can someone give me the total amount of fees.
Canadian citizen, sponsoring wifi in India.

I see the fees table, but not sure which applies to me?

sponsorship = 75$
principal applicant (spouse) = 475$ (*** is this the PR
I get these 2.
"Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner of the principal applicant or, where a transitional provision applies, a family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older " = 550$
(Does this apply as well.???)

You have to pay sponsorship fees= 75$
principal applicant (spouse) = 475$

And you also need to pay $490 landing fees along with the above fees, so total is $1040.

Can u tell me that is there any difference in who is getting the visa????
I mean wife or husband????have u noticed some difference in approach of the case in this aspect?????
I doubt there would be any priority or difference in assesing the case ......but plz let us knw if u hv notice any difference

As of now everybody who is getting DM and ppr are female applicants. They are taking time for male applicant in security checks.

Hey mikee23, can we have another column for date on which additional documents were submitted? Also, the colour coding for landed applicants was blue earlier, which was easily distinguishable..can we have that back? One last request, I access this website and the spreadsheet through my phone and while scrolling down the titles disappear. Can we have the lock cell system in the spreadsheet please? Too many requests in one post, but can the changes be made? Thanks.

i have added the extra column. the green was suggested by a member so i changed it. what i can do is that i will change all the current updates to blue so you know who got the latest update and it will remain till we get next updates...is that ok? the titles row are frozen...what i suggest is you can use the google doc app....i guess it will help you to get a better view of the sheet.

around 10-12 months. do you mean on this forum or spreadsheet? if its in the forum i think you have to wait till you have 10 posts then you can go to your profile settings and update
