Is it Mandatory to Book flight tickets while applying TRV?

No it is not complusory to book flight tickets though few applicants feel that booking confirm ticket is plus point to their file while few cases i have read whr inspite of confirm ticket ppl got rejection...so ticket iternary will be surely fine.......dont forget to go thru tannygirl document list for trv and submit as much proof as u can,good luck for ur trv application

Yeah.. Thankyou Nabaaf for encouragement. I thought march files are up so.... Are there any chances to pick file by them randomnly??

NDVO is completely unpredictable....one cant guess anything....mostly all applicants go in proper que bt there r many cases whr applicants who hv applied later get update frm ndvo...so we can jus keep praying...be positive

One can check the ecas thru sponsors UCI number ,applicants UCI number n file number....
Even if applicant has not got aor2 n UCI number so one can check online thru sponsors UCI number or file number (incase of naturalized citizen)

HI Guys,
I got a question, I applied for visitors TRV for my wife on 19 NOV 2015 on-line, then we got a letter from them to submit the passport to finalise visitor visa on 5 dec, 2015 and we submitted through VFS on 9, december havnet got any response till yesterday when I emailed CIC Chandigarh that we are stressed and mentally harassed about the processing of the application and no reply are provided to us even the processing time for the application passed by 4 weeks and even the time for for which we got NOC for vacation for my wife is completed. and yesterday afternoon they called and scheduled interview for visitor visa next week. my main concern is we have PR application in process as well does that effect that file. Cry Cry Cry

you are right but my only concern is that its important i get aor2 in email so i know for future communication that my email is correct and i don't miss any requests from the ndvo.

hey PRIYA.K, KARANKULLAR, MIKE, JAYTANZ, KRISKRIS thank u 4 ur love and support. i appreciate u guys 4 ur love here.i am tensed bc i belong to a very low class family. my father is a auto rickshaw driver he has been driving an auto for past 25 years.he gave is profession as vehicle driver knowing that as a bussinessman or merchant he would have some income,my mother is maid.i am the only son of them.since i came from new zealand i am working in a cafe in india.i want my parents to rest now.they love me so much.i am suffering a lot guys only god knows i cant live without my wife.i miss her a lot.each and every single day is very hard for me.just pray guys for each and everyone who are waiting for their spouse to live.thanks guys once again god bless

yes the applicant gets an email to confirm from the ndvo that they have started the process. your husband will get his UCI number.....how did you check his online status without his UCI number??


We just check the status under my UCI number...my husband never received a separate UCI number. What do you guys suggest we do? do you think I should apply for notes to see where the hold up is?

its quite strange to see they are scheduling interviews for TRV

i dont think it will effect your PR application cos both are two different things and have their own requirements

The other thing is I wrote the email stating that we are stressed about the way of processing of CIC may cause any issue's, what you think about that..any idea what they will be asking in the interview.

To be honest i really dont know what to suggest you mate since i dont know what exactly are their concern

just be confident and honest all i could suggest
hence fourth do not type any emotional letters they dont give a ToSS about it

i think its important you change the email id first. does that mean you never received AOR-2??
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/relatives-apply-after.asp scroll down to change in contact information.

other senior members can help you with how to send a case specific enquiry to resend remed to the new email-id. i think you need to write a cover letter requesting for it or you can go for MP enquiry to check if they sent remed.
post it in ndvo-2014 they have lot of experience over there.

Thanks for your reply. I never got AOR2 email but we know that AOR2 was sent after doing GCMS inquiry. We have sent multiple emails to NDVO for change of email address and they mentioned they won't confirm the change. I am lost here. Medicals will expire in Feb 2016. Can I just do remeds and send them? What do I need to do remeds? Do i need any letter from CIC?
