Hi Guys,

im going to apply in 2016 i need help from you'll ... im from bombay... got married in the hindu style and registered my marriage with the BMC. Do i need to apostle the certificate ? also i have heard that we need to put in an affidavit from any lawyer stating that the process of marriage ( the sath phera one ) was genuine and done as per indian ways is that true ?

other than the marriage certificate from the BMC and the photots what else can i give to show marriage is genuine

Affidavit from lawyer is not necessary but if you want you can include. As you will be providing all photographs of Religious ceremonies.

Although there is list of documents and proofs already listed in the forums. But you can include any proof that can prove that your relationship is genuine and well known by Family Member and friends or relatives.

Here is list of Things that you can include.
(1) Photographs that show all rituals and ceremonies done before Marriage,During Marriage and Post Marriage.
(2) Chat and Phone call history including any Email if you have communicated.
(3) Proof of Gifts exchanged during your relationship it can be Courier receipts that include name of partner.
(4) Detail of Any trip you have done with your partner Before and after Marriage. It can be trip for Honeymoon. You can show any Boarding Passes of Flights if you have traveled in Flight or Hotel Booking that list name of you and your partner.
(5) Any gifts or Greetings given by your friends or Family Members to you and your Partner that shows that your relationship is known to all of them.
(6) Any Certificate that is given by Temple or religious place during any ceremony.

There are list of other things that i can include but just make sure that you should provide any proof that will prove you relationship.

Best of luck.

We are Feb 25th 2015 applicants
Got IP status on 9th Oct
My spouse's med expired on 12th Dec 2015 and we havent received any remed request yet.

Do we need to worry? Or we are on the same page with everyone on this forum?

I am currently in India and also went to NDVO last month but they did not even talk to us. They said all communication will be and
should be via email only

hi

i dont think NDVO reply back to every email they get, you only get a computer generated response that they have got your email and will email if they need any more information. if they started replying back to every email they received, that is what they will end up doing with their time.. have patience, if they need something they will ask and will give you time to revert back to them.........

Thank you preetgill,I'm just nervous and anxious....

Hi, my spouse's name starts with A. But no luck yet

I don't think they can do that because their are some of us who applied long ago and maybe our spouse's name starts with y or z.

Hello to All

I want to get advise on few things if someone help me in understanding.

(1) What is good way to apply for spousal application ? Out land V/s Inland ? If Out land than what are chance of getting spousal visit visa if she want to visit me ?

(2) If i choose for Inland application, is it true that during that processing time spouse can not leave canada until she get PR application approved ? Please advise me on it.

(3) Is it true that if application got rejected due to inland application there is no option to appeal it ?

Hope to get reply on it

i dont think u need an affidavit from a lawyer to justify the hindu marriage process, cic people are well aware of it. you can take certificates from the venues where you had your ceremonies and functions, stating the number of people attended and stuff......
