NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

Hello peeps... M feb 4th applicant, havent got remed request so far... was jus wondering if its gonna take longer for me as i have travel history of 1 year ....any idea..,,??
another question is that do ndvo send remed request only after all background checks are completed...??
and what exactly background checks include...??

add your timeline to the spreadsheet....you can get a better idea of whats happening.

hey just wanted to let you know that there is a spreadsheet with different timelines where you can join with others who are just wondering too. :) :)

Even though your medical is expiring on Jan. 5, 2016, they still requested you to submit the reassessment for a new medical certificate because the validity of your current medical certificate is about to expire and they probably assume that the principal applicant won't be able to land before it expires.

Getting a re-medical request is indeed a good sign. :) :P

Based on the Snippet from the page

"The process applies only to cases where a final decision is pending due to either:

the expiration of a medical certificate; or,
when the validity of the medical certificate is about to expire and the applicant is unable to land before it expires.
The process does not apply to applicants who are inadmissible on health grounds since inadmissible ‘M’ profiles do not expire."

Does this mean that NDVO has picked our file and have started to review it?

I got to know about the 7 days from a friend who submitted his file sometime in - Nov 2014.

However our remeds did not include the line about 7 days.
 
Are there interviews being conducted regularly these days? I haven't heard of a single person in this forum with interview request. Passport request right after medical re-assessment?

June 2014 applicants are getting scheduled for interview currently for february 2016

I guess they would give you about 15 days to submit your passport after the request. Although only someone who has recently got a PPR can answer that for sure.
Waise bhi why would one wait for submitting the passport? I would think the sooner you submit it the better it would be.

Why to dishearten?...you already aware the processing time is 17 months. And yu didnt crossed even 11 months. So dont worry..chill....you may hear soon..Have trust n faith on God

It's nt d way u think . 17 mths for non routine cases . it's 48 mths for Pakistan guys n thy getting in 7-8 mths n tht too many Jan Feb got updates except few . hez bit distressed tht no update. How evr , ndvo in holiday mood , ppl ll get update soon
