I have applied for TRV on 16th Dec 15. I called VFS to see if thr is a possibility to expedite the process.(as i have a booked ticket for 26th dec..
They asked me to submit a written request to them which will be sent to the consulate & rest is upon them. i m not sure if that can be of any help..
They also said that the Passport & decision making shall be at Bangalore only & passport need not go to Delhi.
I hope this is true...What do u guys think & experienced members may please comment

I have submitted a written request with travel proofs & hope if they see my case & expedite the process
fingers crossed...

Refusal on TRV does not impact a PR application

Good Luck

Hi itslaeq, how to contact Local MP. Do i need to email to the MP email address or contact the office.

Send your MP an email or call the office. They generally set an appointment and you can explain your situation to the MP and they will do the enquiry for you.

Hey Guys,

Here is something that you may want to look at and advice.

Timeline for PR Application so far
Jan 3 : Medicals
Feb 10 : Application Received
Mar 20 : SA
Apr 7 : AOR 1
Apr 20 : AOR 2
Oct 9 : In Process

Timeline for WP
Nov 27 : Medicals
Dec 16 : Passport submitted

Hopefully she will get her WP in this week. Looking at the current trend of Feb applications are getting the PPR. What is advisable
- Stay in India until we get the PPR request as it is nearing
or
- Transfer the PR application to Canada once my wife travels to Canada.

Also, There is another school of thought - that i have heard from people else where.
CIC might not stamp the WP instead hold the Passport to directly stamp the Immigration visa.

Please suggest or comments .. looking for advise.

Got the re-medical request today .... it is so strange that CIC cannot use the medicals done for WP on Nov 27. CIC wants us to do the test again ... funny.... its our need so we have to comply :)

Congrats Ankurie :) and thank you for updating in the spreadsheet too.

So, it means ndvo has reached somewhere around mid-feb.

Also guys, our forum member PreethiMahendran has created a statistics sheet in the new excel ss. Do check it out to get an overall idea of the current ndvo processing trends. Thank you Preethi for your efforts :D
