Update from CIC for my wife's PR application.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 30, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 3, 2015.
We started processing your application on September 8, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Apparently my application was sent to London by "mistake" and it sat there for over a month eating dust until I inquired and they transferred it to New Delhi. The police certificate I got for my wife expired on November 29th 2015. I am not sure if they will request again. They probably will, its nothing less than a small battle trying to get a police certificate in the state of UP.

Unfortunately we have to do whatever they want. So no way out. I wish you good luck for the processing.

Hey, thanks for the support. By looking at the dates, if everything goes smoothly and I resubmit the police certificate how long do you think it should take, till April 2016?

I have a noob question.
When they say 17 months is it when the file reached New Delhi office or from the time the Sponsor Applied?
Also I see people getting PR from January of 2015, does that mean their file came to NDVO in January or the Sponsor Applied file in January, please help clarify.

I am also a Feb 11 applicant. It's good to see that January files are being worked on now. I hope they open Feb. files soon.

Those who's applications were received by CIC in january 2015, are getting DMs and not by NDVO.
And about the processing times....17 months is the processing time for full package including sponsorship approval as it is written on the page where it shows processing times.

How do I send a few additional documents to CIC ?

I got married in Cochin in May 2015, returned to Canada in June.

September applicant. ECAS for wife ( she does not have a client number yet) says in process as of Dec 4th 2015.

Since my return in June 2015 , I have plans for five trips to Cochin ( two trips already done, three more booked till May 2016) .

How do I send copies of the tickets to CIC ? Thanks

Common consensus on this forum is not to send anything unless asked.
 
We are Feb 2015 NDVO applicant and Our medical will expire in January. We are planning a trip around the same time to Thailand. My question is if we receive the re-medical request during that time, would we be able to do it in Thailand ? And how long does NDVO give you to complete the re-medical ?

Don't worry.. enjoy your trip, NDVO will give you around a month notice to send Re-Medicals.
