I had sent this email to MP, when i did not hear anything back, i forwarded same copy to Justin Trudeau's team. Hope they do take it seriously.

Email :
Hello Sir,

I'm xxx, resident of SK since 4 years. I am not sure if this is right thing to ask but still curious and confused so just giving this a shot. Any help would be much appreciated.

I went to India(my home country) last year to get married. I have put up an application for spousal visa in March,2015 and was approved as sponsor in May,2015. My wife's file was transferred to CIC- New Delhi visa office in June 2015 first week. I follow blog to check whether anybody from 2015 got approval for same kind of application. And surprisingly there is not a single case to anyone's knowledge where visa has been issued(permanent residency for spouse). When i checked statistics for previous years(source provided at the end), it says 50% of cases were processed in average 8 months in 2013 and in 10 months in 2014, so according to that, at least some of Jan,2015 applicants should receive decisions by now, which will give hopes for straight forward cases.

No one knows how NVDO(New Delhi Visa Office - CIC) works and on what basis they prioritize files. Also now they have started putting most applications "In Process" status as soon as file reaches there, which is more confusing as earlier, when status was changing to "In process", it was hardly taking 30-45 days to get decision on that.

It would be great help if we can get any input from them as to what's actually going on and why there is no case in 2015 where decision has been made.

Statistics of last 2 years are attached with this email(specific to New delhi visa office and Family class spousal category highlighted in file). Full excel file is available from link below if needed.

It is really difficult waiting for so long and when i follow blog, i see lot of people confused and making assumptions so just thought to give this a try.

Thank you very much for your time. Much appreciated!!!

Sincerely,
xxx.

He's is busy in photo-op with the refugees. Meanwhile when I contacted my MP, I was told that MP inquiry has a potential to delay your file by few months as CIC will pull your file from the regular queue. Of course, that was not helpful. I've emailed everyone I could around but it turned out futile. I've realized none of will help our files. All newspapers/politicians/social median care about is what gives maximum mileage to their position and stature. Sit patiently, watch the show and pay taxes.

I had my girlfriend apply for a visitors visa, and she got approved.

Now I will be going to my home country ( India) to get marry on social customs and planning on bringing her here using the visitors visa she obtained months earlier.

So once she lands in Canada, i will marry her in canada to get marriage certificate .

I am planning on applying for inland sponsorship.

What is advisable to apply for her PR application ? Inland or Outland ?

I came to know inland application take long time than outland.

Would it be possible to apply outland for PR and she come and join me on visit visa and later convert that visit visa in Open work permit ?

Is this an OK thing to do? Any response would be appreciated.

Can anyone share with me if you are aware of the working of NDVO's i.e. do they proceed according to the sequence in which they received the files or there is some other selection criteria. I am a June 2015 applicant. The file was transferred to local office New Delhi and the processing on the file began on 14th August 2015. I have sent the complete fee, police clearance certificate & medical with the application package. The latest status what shows on the website is "Medical has been received" which was updated on 2nd November 2015.
Any update on the approximate time frame until a decision or any useful information will be appreciated. Thank you.
