Hi guys...
Can someone please explain what is difference between case specific enquiry and GCMS notes?
And which is best at what tym after we hv applied file?
I knw lil bit abt gcms notes...but no idea of case specific enquiry

I applied on 9 march....in process since 9 oct.
Plz suggest

Case specific enquiry is used if your application has exceeded normal processing times or you wish to report important changes, such as a change in address, births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in employment or urgent requests.

GCMS notes are essentially all of the notes that CIC staffwill have on your file during its review and process. Seeing the current trend, if you apply for your notes in mid-Jan, they may show some comments made by the CIC staff.

Hello khancool
As email is containing some confidential information of applicant such as applicant name, application #, IME# and date of birth, so is it safe to disclose all these to medical centre staff and physicians or it is normal?

Yes you need to provide that confidential information to panel physician ,how do you think he will send your re-medical reports to embassy.

Check the e-mail and you will find this.
(Please visit this website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx for
identifying Panel Physician (PP) in your vicinity and take this email to
the Panel Physician (PP) for the re-assessment(s) to be arranged.)

But I am working and I had sufficient fund in my bank account. Still my TRV application got rejected saying that I do not have travel history. So may be if you have good travel history, you might get TRV. (I applied for TRV(in July 2015) before my PR process had started(September 2015).)

i have another question. Can i apply for TRV while my PR process is going on? will it affect PR process in any way?

we had job letter , sufficient funds , valid reason- even though they rejected as we had no travel history

You need to take the following things mentioned below for the re-medicals.
1. Original Passport
2. Xerox copy of Passport
3. 2 Passport size photographs with white background
4. Printout of email requesting you for the re-medical.

All the other forms are already available with the Panel Physician.

Hey thanks :) khancool2006

Hello,

Can anyone share the format of invitation letter for spousal TRV when file is already in process?

I filed my application under Spousal Category on 10th June 2015. Received the AOR on 16th July 2015. The sponsor has been approved on 12th August 2015 and the file was transferred to local office New Delhi and the processing on the file began on 14th August 2015. I have sent the complete fee, police clearance certificate & medical with the application package. The latest status what shows on the website is "Medical has been received" which was updated on 2nd November 2015.

Hi everyone....
Congratzz to all jan 2015 applicants who got remed ......
Hoping for the best for all the patiently waiting spouses
God bless everyone....

Cheers

Hello Everyone,

First of all thanks a lot to Canada Visa Forum team for putting this forum and keeping everyone updated about the application process in general.

I am 2nd June 2015 applicant & NDVO started processing my application from Aug 10, and CIC website shows that they have received our medical results.

After reviewing different posts, i have few questions & would like if people could help in answering them:

1) How we know that NDVO are working on Nov-Dec-Jan applications? is there any link available? If yes can anyone provide the same.
2) Is phone interview one of the imp step in the application process? Does CIC or NDVO email us stating that they would call us on particular day & time to conduct the telephony interview?
3) Considering current situation, how much time you think it will take for NDVO/CIC to complete the processing of applications received by them in June 2015?

Thanks everyone for the reply in advance and best of luck. Hope new year will bring in some great news for all of us.

1) follow the ndvo-2014 thread and this spreadsheet
New Delhi 2015 cases: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZIIion9r1Urcvbmc1qANXbO1ziFqxx_8TDbb9KySCz4/edit#gid=0
2) you should post this query in ndvo-2014 they will give you more insights.
3) according to the current trend 10-12 months
