Hi Friends,

My advice to all who are thinking to apply TRV, Job is a must part to get TRV, if you show you are working and can attach a leave approval letter (just for 30 days leave-- no matter you stay in Canada for long), there are solid chances that you will get TRV. So plan ahead, if you are jobless try to arrange a job letter. There is no need to attach your previous income tax returns.

Also your funds must be from long (more than 4-5 months). If you deposit the funds recently, then they suspect that it is only for TRV purpose.

and don't worry, if even after sending your e-medical receipt nothing shows up on eCas. According to new process https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_fam&lang=en&app= you medicals will reflect once your file reaches to DM stage.

I am also waiting for my wife's PR. applied for TRV and they asked for marriage proofs(pics and relationship questionnaire). Anyone here who has been asked for additional docs for TRV? She doesn't have job in India but we wrote nice cover letter(mentioning this because i dont think if you don't have job, you should not apply for TRV, if you can explain them rightly, there are chances and it's no harm taking a shot..because if they had to refuse, they wouldn't have asked for additional docs I am assuming so even if you dont have job in India and want to try for TRV, try it..) any thoughts anyone or similar situation?

there is one more thing that i wanted to ask, can i submit my passport in india only, what if i m in US? can i submit my passport there for the spouse PR.

The NDVO 2015 spreadsheet is frustrating. First you can't edit on your will, too much admin control. Second there is no reflection on the cases where re-medicals are received and submitted. Please change the way spreadsheet is going!!

But I am working and I had sufficient fund in my bank account. Still my TRV application got rejected saying that I do not have travel history. So may be if you have good travel history, you might get TRV. (I applied for TRV(in July 2015) before my PR process had started(September 2015).)

i have another question. Can i apply for TRV while my PR process is going on? will it affect PR process in any way?

And which is best at what tym after we hv applied file?
I knw lil bit abt gcms notes...but no idea of case specific enquiry

I applied on 9 march....in process since 9 oct.

As email is containing some confidential information of applicant such as applicant name,application #, IME# and date of birth, so is it safe to disclose all these to medical centre staff and physicians or it is normal?
