hi.. i am new to this forum.. plz add my data to the spreadsheet.. applied on march 25th 2015
file reached india on 28th may started working on my case on 2nd june, got in process on oct 9th.. medical is done upfront.
since then there r no news... its been long since i met my husband and it is affecting our lives.. because everyday we think this might be it... but that day hasnt come yet.. its frustrating... can someone really knows how long will it take :(

Hope everyone is doing well. I am visiting my wife in India in a few weeks and was questioning whether I should update CIC of my visit to India. Do you guys have any information on that?
I heard it from someone, that its better to advise CIC, as it shows the authenticity of the relationship and makes you case stronger. But I am not sure how its done. Is it thru case specific inquiry or just an email to NDVO?
Any insight is appreciated. :'( :'( :'(

Take lots of picture of different visits and outings
Put it in a courier
With a covering letter mentioning the details
Do add your DOB
File number
uci number
Full name
With initials at the bottom

Hello Guys.

I sent application for my wife on 23rd November 2015. Received at CIC centre on 27th November 2015 by R.Masood. Since I asked her to apply for visitor visa before we got married, she got the same , for a year. I intend to bring her here, in the month of February.


Hope everything turns out good.

I have several questions:

a)Currently I am residing in Canada and intend to move some new place in December 2015. Does the CIC send notification by mail ( though I think if we put email address in IMM forms, most of the information/notification are shared on email.) .

b) Once the application is received at CIC Missisauga, I think it takes 2 months for sposnorship approval. Is there a place I can login and track the application status.

c) Heard alot about GCMS notes. When shall I apply for that.

I heard same thing,my sister in law did same thing
but she applied via immigration consultant and her immigration consulted update her visit to india
sorry I don't know how her consultant updated it
