We have almost similar timeline in terms of application. We applied on 25th Feb n got in process status on Oct 9th. It seems like never ending process :(

Hi. I donno how to post a msg. Iam a Jan 2015 applicant . sponsoring my wife. My wife got a remedial request for chest X-ray today as her meds got expired on October 13.
 
I wonder .how does the people work in the embassy.how do they select file for processing. Don't they follow first come first serve in processing applications. I filed my application on December no progress for me but people have got pr after me . How is that?

I got married in April 2015 and then went and visited my husband again in Sept for 5 weeks. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to send a copy of my boarding passes and some new pictures from my visit to NDVO?

Hey can you please let us know when did you apply in jan and when did you receive the remedical?

Looks like they are processing some 2015 files as well now. There could be a few other who have received correspondence from NDVO who are not on this forum. Good luck with your processing.

Hi, don't do it unless CIC/NDVO will ask further documents. If you send them by urself there are chances they will ask more paperwork.
It is advisable not to send them any further documentation until they demand.

I want t write a letter describing how horrible the situation was when I was in Kabul to see if that would speed up things. Would you suggest that?
 
Hello friends
I am a April 2015 applicant and waiting for my wife's visa to canada. My question is:
I want to go visit my wife for 2-3 months in January and want to know what if she gets ppr when im there with her.
Can we come to Canada together or i have to come back by myself in order to prove residency in Canada.
Any answers would be appreciated...
 
Hi Guys. I got one year Visitor Visa thanks to this forum.

Timeline
Applied on Nov 20. Request for passport 24. Passport sent Nov 26 got it back Dec 2.
