Hi forumites,

I am new to this thread and have few queries..

I ve become a PR holder in Aug 2015 and now planning to get married n sponsor my wife.

Can anybody shed more light on these 2 questions pls:

1. Is there any link or thread which can help me prepare for my wife's application. If theres any list of docs kindly share.

2. Is it must to be employed to qualify as a sponsor.

If my wife isn't working rightnow in India and haven't filed taxes or has not any property on her name. would it be possible to get TRV? any such cases who got success? please message me or reply to this. any help would be appreciated.

Hi.. when one is applying TRV, one has to show
1. Strong bindings to home land i.e. Job, property etc.
2. Enough funds to show that one can take care of oneslef.

Job is very essential to show bindings...

sonu is may 2015 applicant ,he applied for notes but some one told me we can apply sp early
n because we are given17 months to process case,
according to his notes eligibility is passed, is it means they are working on 2015 s file, can any one reply plz

yup ...i guess dec-may are currently undergoing back grd n security chks . If eligibilty is passed no interview , to know tht u gotta order notes

Your application does not require an interview and since Eligibility is the base of your entire application I can say that 80% of your application is over, now you will get DM within few months...

Is this something like, when our files go into IP, then in GCMS notes Eligibility is shown as 'passed' ??
 
Don't want to sound negative, but if the above is the case, then all the 2015 applicants will have similar details, if we apply for notes now.
i.e., Eligilibity-Passed and rest of the checks 'not started'

Tanusha .. its mentioned inside the in process as processing from the aor 2 date ..Might be in these many months eligibility might have been completed?

And now the backlogs are more for ndvo .. if you see other years threads , apr-may 2014 guys got thr PR in jan 2015 . And still we are in sep/oct 2014 guys .. It means they are 100% behind the schedule ..They are trying to speed up may be
