Thanks draxz1289.

It's strange how AOR1 has been clubbed with SA, which clearly are 2 different things.

I expected AOR1 to be issued after it has been checked that the application is not missing any document and SA to be issued when every document has been evaluated and the first stage approved.

Best wishes to everyone!

Hi PGU: Following are my details:
We received your application for permanent residence on May, 2015.
We started processing your application on July, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Hi ,

I recenly got my SA approval . My ECAS status says Medical Results Received.

Now , when i went through the NDVO spreadsheet , the people who got their SA approval in September have got their passport request in september itself.

1.Should i assume the processing time has been fastened?

2. Once our passport is requested , how much time does it take to get VISA generally?

Thnaks

I am not sure if its a mistake in the sheet or you misread it but If you just got your SA and the file was just transferred there is no way they can give PPR in a month. The current full processing time is 17 months or 8-10 months for straight forward cases from the time it reaches Delhi so if your file reached Delhi in Sept 2015 its 17 months or 8-10 months from Sept 2015.

They are working on Sept/Oct/Nov 2014 applicants who have got re-medicals and waiting to ke issued PPR and once PPR is issued its usually within a week or two the passport is returned.

Your wait has just started so hang in there and good luck

Can anyone tell me when I wil get my AOR 2.
I got my SA on October 16 but still my ECAS status shows Application Received

When it's going to be update.

I am confuse.

Please guide me.

I am confuse about applying Visitor visa for my wife.
I got SA but still waiting for AOR 2

So should I have to wait for AOR2 for applying visitor visa or I can apply before AOR 2.

Please guide me. I am planning to apply on next month at the end and in hope I will get myAOR2 before that.
Please give any suggestions

Hey,

Its hardly been a week and ECAS is notoriously slow on being updated so there is nothing to worry about. AOR2 can take anywhere from two weeks to a month or more - some people dont even get AOR2 and get DM directly but you can be assured if you got your SA the file has been transferred to Delhi.

You can apply for TRV any time but I suggest she waits till she gets her AOR2 since that will have her UCI number which might make it easier to connect her files. In the mean while start gathering the documents and proof that she has ties in India and will come back. Is she working?

Our AOR2 letter from NDVO came two weeks after SA, and for some it can take up to a month, if not longer.
