You are right about this but I am January 09 ,2015 applicant and my file went in process after 9 months.It's going to be 10 month on November 09 for my application.So, I don't know what's the deal with NDVO putting everybody in IP status.

You applied for the notes? if not apply after Nov 9 and check whats in it.

Just so you guys are aware, NDVO has changed their procedures with 2015 applicants.

I don't exactly when it started, but many recent applicants are getting the "In Process" status very quickly, like within a month or two of SUBMITTING their application.

Please be aware that this is not the same as the "In Process" status that 2014 applicants have gotten. My wife's application went IP about 11 months after submitting her application. So your files are still going to take many months to reach the DM/PPR stage. So if you're an April or May 2015 applicant, don't expect any movement anytime soon. Our file is from September 2014, and ours is not done yet.

It is a bad thing for people who have applied recently. At least with us, "In Process" was sort of a notification that your application was nearly complete. Now, IP really does not mean much of anything. You guys are not going to get the "heads up" that your file is nearing a decision, you'll be completely in the dark until your file actually goes to DM after a year or so.

Personally, I suspect NDVO has done this to avoid the thousands of ATIP notes requests and MP inquiries from "In Process" applicants who want to know when their PPR letter is coming.

man , may be ur right but dont be under bias that ndvo put all new n old applicants in process due to tht notes ..atleast now thy ll be 100x notes applied bcoz people are more curious to enter into next step .

coming to ur point , sep 2014 will be processed n then only others dont wry thy ll go acc to sequence . varies according to the applications u see ..some may hv meds expired or some chks pending , i thk for each case certain action may be taken before touching other . so if dec applicant has all chks cleared with medical validity , thy ll get ppr first . so dont suspect ndvo .. only option left out is to trust them n keep faith in god

Hi Patel,

You should receive your SA in a week as the processing time at present is 60 days, and they are working on applications received on 14th August. So keep checking your email, its coming your way soon. AOR2 will come after 15-20 days of your SA.

Check your spam email folder. Also, they might have sent you SA in regular post which takes 1.5 to 2 weeks to arrive. Also, AOR2 goes to your wife/husband in India (which if sent by regular post takes 1.5/2 weeks to arrive).

Just Relax. As long as ECAS is showing they received your file, don't worry and be happy! Long long way to go for you guys so learn to have patience.

My wife's status also got updated with "medical results received". I agree CIC has started this new trend with 2015 applicants where your file immediately goes in process after a month or 2 you get AOR or SA. I have a feeling that the files are moving otherwise they wouldn't update the status with the acknowledgement of medical results and so on. My wife's timeline is as follows:

1. PR application sent July 15, 2015.
2. Application received July 16, 2015.
3. AOR1 received August 18, 2015.
4. AOR2 received September 15, 2015.
5. SA received September 22, 2015

The recent PR application ecas status for my wife is as follows:

We received xxxxx (My wife's) application for permanent residence on July 16, 2015.
We started processing (My wife's) application on September 18, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Any comments on whether the files are really moving or there is some other mind strategy that CIC is playing with us? I am not really sure at this moment.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

Files are not moving for recent applicants. Go on 2014 New Delhi thread and you will see people even from Nov./Dec. haven't received their Visa. I think they have started looking at January 2015 files but not too many of them.

You are right.I think Nov/Dec applicants are getting re medical.I hope they have also started looking at January 2015 files.

I totally agree with you regarding the notes. Now if applicants will see their file in process since long time they would apply notes for sure to check what is going on with their file?
