Hi Guys: I am new to this forum. On Oct 9, status changed to In-process; not sure if its just status update by the system or they really started working on it.

1.) We received ****** application for permanent residence on May 2015.
2.) We started processing ****** application on July 2015.
3.) Medical results have been received.

Can some one update my status on the spreadsheet to In Process (user name: boateng)

for June onward applications, the status was,
-we received your application
-we started processing your application

medical received lines are not added yet (myself July applicant).
so lets take this a positive sign from NDVO and hope the rest of the process is smooth.
Congratulation and glad for all.
Also please kindly update the spreadsheet.
Finally a change in ECAS Status.
third line added today,
Medical results have been received :) :) :)

Timeline:
App Filed-July 9, 2015
File Transfer-Sept 10, 2015
In Process Since-Sept 10, 2015
ECAS Status,
-We received XYZ application on July 09, 2015
-We started processing XYZ application on Sept 10, 2015
-Medicals results have been received (updated on Oct 14, 2015)

You can do a case specific inquiry and can attach you e medical receipt with that.

Just so you guys are aware, NDVO has changed their procedures with 2015 applicants.

I don't exactly when it started, but many recent applicants are getting the "In Process" status very quickly, like within a month or two of SUBMITTING their application.

Please be aware that this is not the same as the "In Process" status that 2014 applicants have gotten. My wife's application went IP about 11 months after submitting her application. So your files are still going to take many months to reach the DM/PPR stage. So if you're an April or May 2015 applicant, don't expect any movement anytime soon. Our file is from September 2014, and ours is not done yet.

It is a bad thing for people who have applied recently. At least with us, "In Process" was sort of a notification that your application was nearly complete. Now, IP really does not mean much of anything. You guys are not going to get the "heads up" that your file is nearing a decision, you'll be completely in the dark until your file actually goes to DM after a year or so.

Personally, I suspect NDVO has done this to avoid the thousands of ATIP notes requests and MP inquiries from "In Process" applicants who want to know when their PPR letter is coming.

True, its just misleading tactics of NDVO, How come everyone went to In Process.. they are not doing anything behind the scenes.

You are right about this but I am January 09 ,2015 applicant and my file went in process after 9 months. It's going to be 10 month on November 09 for my application. So, I don't know what's the deal with NDVO putting everybody in IP status.
