NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

When I log in to check my online status of application using Client ID , I see Sponsership Application Status details and when i click on it , it says "In Process" and when I Open It , it says

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 30, 2015.

Can anyone explain what it actually means? I didnot received any AOR ,mail or confirmation from CIC yet.

Did anyone also received the same?

It takes 15months nd if ur case is straight thn 8 to 9 months. Good luck

I can answer you on #2, Visitor Visa is totally possible. My wife got her Visitor Visa just this morning. I applied for her Spousal Sponsorship in early February of this year. The wait was unbearable, so we finally attempted for a Visitor Visa (knowing that there is a good chance of rejection as well) for her on 21st Sep, 2015. Everything went well and now she is coming over next week. ;D

thanks for the response jsingh. And congrats. Well I will give it a try but then just like u said, I will expect a 50-50 chance. Because it so depends on luck in this case. No harm in trying.

I urge everyone to try for TRV. Even if rejected atleast it'll show the VO who's processing your PR Application that you both have the eagerness to be together which is true for a genuine relationship. So, in case you get an Interview request, you have a bullet point to talk about in the interview.

Also feel free to check the letter I sent in along with my application. This letter also lists all the documents I attached. I wish you good luck!
