I have seen Jan applicants status is AR/MR.

I applied Apr 2015 with my medicals document. But my status is AR only not MR.

Does it mean anything ,may I know y they didn't update my medical received?

AOR Received: Early April 2015
Sponsorship Approved & File transferred to Local Consulate: Mid April 2015.

Status was Application Received & Medicals Received for months.

Status on eCas changed to "IN PROCESS" in Late September (sometime within last week). What does this mean? When can I expect the Passport request now?

Congrats. The average processing is still 8-9 months from the time AOR2 is received and for you its April 2015. NDVO is currently processing Oct/Nov 2014 applications - this from the last DM.

I could be wrong, but the sequence of eCas status changes was as follows:

Permanent Residency Application:
In Progress > Application Received > In Progress.

Isn't the next logical step PPR? Please correct if I'm wrong.

I am April 2015 Applicant, My wife is having Multiple Visa, she stayed with me for 5 months and went back to India, how soon she can re-visit me?

1) can she re-visit me after a month?
2) while she will be in Canada, should we update Canadian phone number as her contact number?

Please help me in this.

How long is your wife Multiple Entry Visa is Valid till, Visitors Visa can stay until 6 months, after that you can extend your Visa by applying and request for 1 year ( It depends upon what you request) there is a $100 fee for it. Your wife can revisit now anytime if she has Multiple entry visa.

The reason am saying this is my wife came to canada in Sept 2014 , i requested for extend visa on feb 2015 and CIC gave extension until March 2016.
