r u serious? after ip it takes 8-9 mths to get ppr is it

Earlier, applicants would get IP closer to the 8-9 months then get the PPR right after which has been the case for older applicants including us - we went IP on the 8th month and we just got re-medicals suggesting they are ready to issue the visa and await the new medicals.

For news applicant ( I believe so) the files go IP after AOR2 with the updated definition on the CIC site but still taking 8-9 months to actually process the file though its still early newer applicants haven't got re-medicals, DM or PPR I can speculate that its still going to take 8-9 months as its always been...

Important Information which might help clarify confusion about recent in process status :

CIC website's Definition of "In process: -

""When an application that has been sent to CIC has been opened, checked for completeness, and an employee has begun to process it (enter into the computer system, etc.).""

here is the link :
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/glossary.asp#in_process

So that means the logic we are using in understanding that they putting file status 'in process' as soon as they receive it at NVDO , might not be right. that means they are picking random files and starting processing it. I hope this helps.

Wow' i m hopeful now. That they have actually started working on "in process" files.
I am June 23, 2015 applicant and my ecas status says, "we started processing your application on Aug 27,2015". Fingers crossed !!!!

Yes, and I'm sure no one actually read my posts on page 92, which explains logically that they don't just follow straight process where they would finish all the files from 2014 and then start 2015. they pick straight forward cases or random cases from this year and start processing them too. otherwise why not all the ppl who has filed in 2015 are showing 'in process' , why just few? and i dont want to be an ass but just repeatedly specifying just so ppl don't have confusion with what's going on. and if you guys don't believe, you will believe when someone from 2015 gets "Decision made" and still 2014 files outstanding.

those who needs to understand more, go to page 92 and read my comments, open that excel files and try to understand from data. you will realize.

suratguyforu great information but how can I see only new delhi case

if you open that, on drop down on top , you can select new delhi. it's a big file so wouldn't update rightaway. switch to second worksheet on bottom and go back to first, n it will show you specific new delhi cases.

you have to fill out all the parts and send it to mississauga, after they are done with first part(for sponsorship approval), they will send the rest to NVDO.

Ndvo still on Nov n Dec 2014 applications .. Hopefully by Oct end Jan 2015 will get updates

NDVO havent issues any PPR to 2015 applicant. The processing time always increases, it never decrease.
