I've sponsored by wife(She is in India).
AOR1 received on Apr-2
AOR2 from NewDelhi received on May-26

Currently file status, it shows from New Delhi as 'Application received'.

Can you please let me know, when can I expect my file in-process status.

They are processing random applicants in the month of November 2014. When was your application filed (ECAS - date received)?

Important Information which might help clarify confusion about recent in process status :

CIC website's Definition of "In process: -

""When an application that has been sent to CIC has been opened, checked for completeness, and an employee has begun to process it (enter into the computer system, etc.).""

So that means the logic we are using in understanding that they putting file status 'in process' as soon as they receive it at NVDO , might not be right. that means they are picking random files and starting processing it. I hope this helps.

If you download this excel file and play around, specifically select Delhi, you can figure out that they processed 50% of 2013 spousal/children class files within 8 months and 50 % of same category files of 2014 in 10 months.

What it means is, even though they have some pending files from previous year, they process files from new year(2015). Just thought to share.

P.S. this Excel file is really interesting if you play around, lot of data!!!!

Is their any one who didn't received their AOR and directly got their SA or AOR 2.

Is there possibility to directly receive AOR 2or SA without AOR 1.

Bcz I waiting for AOR 1 since last 45 days and someone told me above one is one possibility.

Please tell me

I did not received my SA from CIC MIS. but I received AOR2 directly from NDVO. Called the CIC call Centre and I was informed that my application has been approved and will request the CIC MIS to resend the SA email (week gone, haven't received yet)

Hi ,
I am august applicant and sent my file to mississauga for spouse visa on 16th Aug , 2015. Can anyone give me the idea when i will get the confirmation mail from CIC and AOR1?
Please help....

AOR1- confirmation of receipt will be a month after they received your application and AOR2-SA will be 2 months from the initial application filed
P.S-This is the normal processing time. you can always keep track at CIC webpage for date they are processing. the web page usually updates every Tuesday.

Hi My Time Line is --

Sent in Application and they received it on July 2nd , 2015
I got AOR on August 5, 2015
I received SA on August 31st, 2015
My Husband received an email from Delhi office AOR2 on Sept 7, 2015

I have my status as IN PROCESS. On the PR section it says it is started on Sept 4, 2015

Guys what is next? What can I expect after this? Does this mean they are already working on my application.

Not yet.I don't know when they will start January 2015 applicants although I do see one or two IP's but I do not think that they have actually started on January 2015 applicants yet.Your thoughts?

Well I guess we both are in the 2015 First list, so we have to rely on the 2014 Guys end of December application to be done, I did see 1 application of Dec 31 was In Process ( I think that was random).

Me and my husband filed on 30th june,2015 and got aor on 4th aug, aor2 on 7th sep and sa on 9th sep.. But now problem is I can't able to chck my ecas neithr on my name or my husband(sponsor) name... Its still taking an average 8-9 months from the time it goes IP so for applicants who got IP started on Sept it would be 8-9 months after.
