Hey jack2014, I tried quoting you but the website's being all wonky. Anyways, did you check your ecas? If the permanent residence section shows 'In-Process' then they've approved your sponsor and they'll let you know that when their lazy asses get around to it.

My concern here is that as soon as an applicant gets SA, I feel like Missisauga changes the PR section of ECAS to 'In-Process' immediately since it has been through Phase 1, technically Phase 2 is already in process. Chances are that your ECAS updated to IP soon as you were approved for SA and way before your actual VO recieved your file. That's why I'm a little concerned about AR2s since people who had their files transferred after me have theirs and it makes me a little uneasy.

I had my IP on ECAS PR section 3 days before SA, so I'm pretty sure it don't mean squat.

If the permanent residence section shows 'In-Process' then they've approved your sponsor and they'll let you know that when their lazy asses get around to it. This is incorrect - IP just means its IP and doesn't have any bearing on the outcome of the application. ECAS is not updated immediately and there is always a delay.

The file is transferred right after SA and the phase 2 only begins after the visa office receives the process but keep in mind the AOR2 take 2-6 weeks to arrive to the applicant and in some cases the applicant doesn't get an AOR2 and directly decision made or PPR but you can be sure that after SA the file is transferred to the visa office.

Hi Beyomkesh

I am having the same issue. File recevd on 2nd july and as per CIC website they are working on July 03 file. On ecas no update and no email from them regarding File transfer. I tried calling CIC on Thursday and fri but I was getting the message that due to high volume of calls they cant transfer my call to an agent. I am going to call again on Tuesday
Would you please tell me how can I update my signature?

I never said IP has any bearing on the outcome of the application..

And c'mon man use your head, so you're saying they'll start processing your PR app even before approving your sponsor? I'd like to see that happen.

Log in and then click on profile which you can see on your right side on top. then go to Forum profile Information on you left and you will be able to see signature box so you can add your timeline and then make sure you click on "change Profile" its at the bottom.

I checked my Ecas and under PR section its just AR, no IP yet. I am going to call CIC on Tuesday and if I will get the same msg "DUE TO HIGH CALL VOLUME WE CANT TRANSFER YOUR CALL TO AN AGENT" like Thurs and fri then I am thinking to contact MP.
Is it OK to contact MP or should I wait for a week??

What are you talking about? I said "the phase 2 only begins after the visa office receives" and "but you can be sure that after SA the file is transferred to the visa office" and not they will start processing the applicant before the SA...

I have added your timeline in 2015 spreadsheet. Please see below link for that. The owner of the spreadsheet will move you up as we don't have access to that area.
