Congratulations Draxz!! finally you are in-process, which gives hope to everyone else who is stuck in Oct./Nov. 2014 with only AR/MR.

Thank you rambopg you there should be a wave of update soon

I am July 2015 applicant.. got AOR1 on 7th August and just anyday now will get my SA (CIC added third line in sponsor processing today)

Someone please help me understand this.. why is everyone looking at the application received date for counting time? People in December got their first AOR/ SA in March 2015 .. and NDVO has started processing their files. So that means NDVO is just 6 months behind? Assuming they process at the same speed, my application will be received by NDVO in Sept and so just add 6 months from there? Hopefully my file will get in process around March 2016?

So why is everyone saying its going to take 9-10 months from AOR2?

hey it depends on how many applications thy received in tht fin yr . considering backgrd chks , medical expiry n many other cases it takes tym . more over .. it took 6 mths to start process not issue the visa . thr are hell num of ppl waiting for interview letters n ppr .. people are waiting in ip status since jan 2015 without update . so ntg can be predicted for ndvo . if ur case is straight fwd n ur lucky , u may get ur visa in 8-10 mths after aor2

Thought it takes a month to process one application. Okay it makes sense now. Thanks! :)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op02-eng.pdf

read this once , you will be clear on operations of ndvo

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/ip/ip02-eng.pdf

this too ..

ndvo increased processing time to 17 mths by the way . chk cic website

Dont know if you guys are noticing all the IP right after AOR2 this makes sense now . This has been happening for couple of months now and older applicants such as us are getting IP now with the AOR2 as "started processing" so it looks like they have changed their process - when AOR2 is issued you are technically IP which wasnt the case before.

Now, that's the first person from February 2015 application date to go In Process.
Something is fishy.
