NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

The upfront medical exam results are valid for 1 year from the date it has been done. So, in your case it will be valid till October 2015.

Hello All,

I am living in Calgary, Canada and i have filed for my wife's sponsorship, it was received on Mar 27, 2017.
Sponsorship approval is done and an email was received from delhi office acknowledging that they received my file on June 14, 2015.
Just wondering if any of you guys are in same shoes as me. would you know how long does it take approx once file is received in delhi.
medical was done upfront. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks & Good luck all

Hello Attesh,

It takes around 7-8 months for the file to go In-process/PPR after New Delhi office receives it. (if your application has no red flags and is straight forward with good relationship history)

To get an approximate idea of the month, please refer to the 2014 application spreadsheet

every one I was checking processing time but when I tried it gave me msg as below

Important: You must submit your application using the latest forms

Citizenship application forms were updated on June 11, 2015. All applications received on or after June 11, 2015 must use the latest forms (dated 06-2015) or they will be considered incomplete and will be returned. This includes resubmitted applications.

can any one tell what is this form, because my application is received after 11 june,m very worried,plz reply

Hi Gurkul,

It looks like they updated a couple of things, some are dated June 2015 which was the last updates for some of these files.

hi guys,

As per the spreadsheet of last year applicants. its been counted as 8 months from the date the application filed. I am a March Applicant, so i believe ill be getting my "In Process" status by September and "Decision made" in October. Isn't it???? ::)

I think they are running behind this year. Right now they r working on applications filed in Sept./Oct. So you can do an educated extrapolation.
 
Any Jan applicants got in process...?
 
I even checked with 2013 Spreadsheet. It look almost the same. Like 2013 - Sept/Oct candidates have received their Visa by 2014- June/July only.. but somehow the first half of the 2014 got their process done by oct / nov.

How ever, just hoping to get thing done asap. Let God work for us in NDVO and make things done.
 
January Applicants might receive updates from NDVO by August 2nd half.
 
@Kaurmomi - Yes! May be we are right.. Lets hope for the best..

My NDVO status says : REceived my PR Application on 18 March 2015 & Medical Received.

so which means it counts from 18th March for 7 to 8 months.

Lets hope for the best!
 
I am curious my medical was done in October 2014 and will expire in October 2015. Do the expedite the process for people who's medical are about to expire.
And i also did my police clarification in October 2015. How long is this valid for.

No, they don't expedite the process for people whose medical is about to expire. They will ask for re-medical after your current medical has expired.

From what I see on the forums, usually NDVO doesn't ask for police certificate again.
