Hi everyone, i filed my application on June 22, 2015 and it would have been recieved by mississuaga office on June 23, 2015 but i didnt get any acknowledgment or email yet. Can i check my application status from cic website?? Or i have to wait for correspondance from their side?? I wish the time reduces from 8-9 months to 3 months for application processing. We can hope and pray :D i pray for everyone to meet their loved ones soon :) :)

Hi Shiv.. people who applied on or around June 15 are receiving AORs now.. so hopefully next week you will get yours after which you can check your ecas for the application status
All the best :)

hey Guys ..I checked online today and it showing decision made on my apllication since july 7 but i havent received any email or mail from cic .but they are saying they sent me letter in jly 7 //is this normal ..and yea i have checked spam folder please help

Don't worry the sponsor should be receiving a letter at home (if not by email) in 2 weeks or so after SA.
As long as ECAS says Decision made. 99% means u got SA.

hi everyone
i live in vancouver. i applied spouse visa for my wife on 30 april 2015. they start processing her file on 22 may. they send mew an email on 5 july 2015 that u are eligible to sponcer yor spouse and when i checked status on CIC website its showing decision made. it was written in the email that they processed the application to new delhi for further process. besides that i applied for her online visitor visa of canada so that she dont need to wait for long time . but i saw that its showing in status reviewing the medical from last one month. i want to know that how long it will take from new delhi to issue her sponsorship visa or visitor visa. can we apply spouse visa and visitor visa same time... please reply everybody ....

thanks

Ok. Thats good. That is why it takes too much time and we should not feel they are working slowly bcoz for 1000s of application they need time. . I have one more question. In AoR 2 it is mentioned that any change in address or any change should be informed. I have to change my previous job. Shall i have to inform it or not?

They are asking you to inform right? Inform them so that your application upto date !

Hi ankisaluja,

No Problem, you can apply both at same time, that's what most of the people will do, Is your spouse is working ??, did you show ndvo that she will be back to home country after period of time i.e less than 6 months ??, if it is less than 6 months no need to submit medical as per cic website, If you submit medical it means your spouse going to stay more than 6 months, if it is the case NDVO will check your medical also. Write a mail and ask them about your TRV.

1. Works fine
2. No don't do that. Also, it doesn't matter if u apply from in Canada or outside. It takes around 9-12 months to get PR.
Also, she normally can't stay more than 6 months on visitor visa (of course u can apply for an extension)
3. No particular income level requirement. However they do want you to show how do u plan to support yourself and spouse?? If u can't show income, u have to show that ur spouse will not be a burden on the social welfare.

Patience finally pays off!

Got AOR2 (21 July) in regular mail after 3.5 weeks of SA (25 June). I was quite worried but kept my cool and didn't bother NDVO and let them spend precious time on processing your applications rather than answering queries!

So moral of the story is: Even though we provided our email ids in the application, they have only sent correspondence through snail mail which takes 2-3 weeks longer than e-mail.

Hi everyone
I really need help to get some information regarding my spouse application.....

I sent application to Mississauga for my spouse (wife) from India on 20 April 2015
Got AOR 23 June 2015.
Got SA 20 july 2015

Today i got email from deli immi. They are requesting for following documents. but i already send these documents with my application. So, should i send these documents again OR don't need to send it??

1) Proof of payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga or by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
· 2) Submission of police clearance certificates for you and all dependent family members who are 18 years or older, for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.

It clearly states "if not already paid". If you already sent it with your original application then DON'T send it again.

The decision made is only for the SPONSOR. Decision made in sponsorship approval from Mississauga office.

The New Delhi has not started processing your husband's application yet. New Delhi sent you an Acknowledgement of Receipt to tell you that they have received your husband's application.
If you haven't paid the Permanent Residence fees, please pay it now and send the receipt to
CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca (without spaces).
Put your name, date of birth, UCI number, application number in the email text.
