Hi there, thanks for the reply. But what do u mean by new uci.. this s the first time my husband is sponsoring.

The mail that you received last night from Mississuaga, is called AOR. You will receive another mail from NDVO stating that they've received your application in New Delhi Visa Office. That would be your AOR2. You and your spouse will get seperate UCI ID's. The sponsor will get it from Canada visa office and the sponsored person will get it from NDVO. Don't confuse yourself with the concept of new and old UCI ID's. However, your application number will remain the same.

So when we check ECAS after AOR 2, should we use the new UCI from NDVO or can we still use the old one?

Use the ID received from NDVO. That's for the applicant to check the progress of his/her application, once NDVO has received it. Whereas, the ID mentioned in your AOR only helps in confirming whether the sponsorship approval has been done or not. Open the ECAS using both the ID's, you'd get the wider picture what am trying to explain.

yeah you will have same uci , but when your husband file will reach Delhi they will send you AOR in email to your husband which will have a new uci number for you husband( on top left corner), with the same file number

guys I am thinking of adding some columns to the delhi 2015 spreadsheet.
This way it might be easier to see whats going on with our files when our chance comes.

Here are the options:
- 1st marriage/ 2nd marriage
- court marriage / religious marriage
- arranged / love

what do you think??

Does CIC also classify applications on this basis?
