You mean second medical (when the first medical get expire)?

Ho ok thank you ...all the best.

Posted this in the 2014 thread as well......Just wondering if you guys can share how you arranged your packages before sending it to the CPC M'sauga office. There are a couple of really helpful and detailed threads on the forum but the NVDO checklist is slightly different in how they list the required documents.

Any help/guidance will be much appreciated :)

Hi

Can somebody please tell me that when the sponsor is approved from Canada and the file is sent to New Delhi for PR application, does the NDVO send an acceptance letter as well?

I filed for my husband from Canada on May 22 2014 . Sponsorship approval was received on July 22 2014 stating you have been approved as a sponsor and the file is being forwarded to NDVO. After that online the status shows :

1.We received .......... application for permanent residence on May 22, 2014.

2.Medical results have been received.

Since then the status is saying Application received. I dont know how to find out whats happening.

But its been 8 months and the status us the same as "Application Received". So like the time is now 16 months, when the status changes then they will take 16 months from then or how does that work?

Time line by CIC are maximum time limit. Usually People are getting PR fro 8 - 10 months

I hope this is the case :) ...I'll be applying coming weekend and hopefuly *fingers crossed* it does take less than a year.

I think in my case it was just bad luck then. I applied on May 22 2014, sponsorship approval came on July 22 2014 and till now its been 8 months but no reply. If I go by the time line then I have to wait another 8 months to hear anything. As the time line now is 16 months.

Sent my spousal application on Dec.10, 2014 and received by someone at CPC Mississauga on Dec.12, 2014. Decision made (Approval of Sponsorship) for SA on March 04, 2015.

They had my email address wrong. So didn't get my confirmation email til today. Had to call and change it online.
Now only status I got from CIC agent that the file was sent to New Delhi. How do I know if New Delhi Visa Office received the file already or not?

Good Luck everyone who has submitted application.
