Hey Rozi, when you check the status application of permanent residence does it say status application received still?

New Delhi visa office are starting / finishing application dated July 2014 might take about 4-5 months before ours goes through.

Hi All, I applied my PR on October 21st 2014, received UCI number on Jan 8th 2015. Any idea what are the next steps and how long i need to wait.. I also received email on feb 11 2015 asking for PCC if not submitted.. (I didnt respond to that mail since i have already submitted).

I am in the same stage as yours. I checked the status now and it says decision made. Did you get this, what happens now, what decision could that be, would it be intimated quickly ?

Congrats for sending and posting in this group. Hearty welcome to "New Delhi - 2015 Spousal Visa Applicants" forum.

It takes minimum 58 days from the day they receive your application form to get acknowledgement (AOR) and another 48 hours for Sponsorship Approval (SA)

File Number (Application number) will be given only after transferring the application package to New Delhi Visa office (NDVO), which will happen within one week of SA.

Congratulations on your marriage! I hired an agent, even though we were able to independently file, we felt it gave us more assurance that we were working with a professional on this too.
