did you send your passport straight to New delhi, or from a visa office.Which visa office did you sent it through?

No we submitted to the VFS office in Chandigarh and it gets sent to NDVO via a courier service (Blue Dart).

you submitted straight to chandigarh office not the Jalandhar one? cuz our consultant is telling us to do it with them.we were thinking to submit to Jalandhar visa office?i just want to process it faster.
please give me ur opinions about it

We live in Chandigarh so that was closest for us. The office may not matter once you submit its just a matter of 1 week for stamping.

This is what i assume. Take it this way. U did ur remedical on 26th and I did on 29th, since ur remedical email was sent before mine, it must have got piled up by all the other later date reassessment emails sent back by panel physicians. And I bet they are going to send you DM as soon as they hit ur completed remedical email. God knows how many emails they must have received and they probably didnt check all of them yet. So dont worry and wait for maybe a day or two more. U are pretty close, so stay positive!!! And the other person from August who got DM, did her remedical from the same doctor and on the same day as mine, so our reassessments must have been sent back together and we both received DM on the same date.

You guys do know that it is not the date of doing re-medical and them reading the physician's email that makes them send DM/PPR. They are waiting for your background/security checks to clear to send DM/PPR.

Everybody is making assumptions here. Nobody can exactly predict their way of working, unless someone has worked in the embassy, even then i dont think it is something that can be revealed to the outside world. Whatever it takes to satisfy urself and spreading positivity in this forum. #Peace

Another thing could be that they probably deem people eligilble for re-medical only after background/security checks. Because people who got re-medical and who directly got DM on same date (same month applicants) the only difference between the two is that the former one's medical has expired or is about to expire and the later one has enough time before his/her medical expires.

I am also 8 May applicant and my medical expired on 19 march. Sill waiting for re-medical
