Nabaaf, i hope he/she calculated based on the quarter the appl was filed in Canada. in my case, i filed in july.. but it reached NDVO in sept.. i come in 3rd quarter w/r to NDVO processing.. may be.. thats what the person tried to tell..

I got the same request from Delhi for more marriage photos and proof of relationship as well. I don't know why are they asking for proof of relationship? when I have already submitted my marriage certificate.

Fr trv, fr ur bro u need not worry abt the arrangement of documents as i guess u would be submitting paper application thru vfs....so vfs ppl arrange all our documents according to the rules of cic office and how the visa officers wants it to see it.....so jus relax.....u jus need to include all the proofs ....obviously the new application forms followed by new inivitation letter frm m.p will come first followed by additional supporting documents fr ur trv file inclusive of old refused trv letter n other documents clarifying the change in situation.....bt jus relax....vfs ppl will take care of everything.....

Since in 2015 it was taking 2 months for sponsor approval in Mississauga, so files received at NDVO would be the applicant applying 2 months prior. Example file received at NDVO in Sept 2015 would be applicant applying in July 2015 at Mississauga.

Additional document request frm visa office is a kind of chance fr us to prove our relationship genuiness or they need more proofs to come to decision on our file so take it in a positive way n provide more supporting documents fr the same......best wishes

Like Nabaaf mentioned above, additional documents is a chance to prove that the relationship is genuine. From your post it seems like you have not provided much proof of your relationship earlier. Having just the marriage certificate is not sufficient to prove the marriage is genuine. The visa officer is going to look into a lot more details since your relationship started and how it built over time. This is your chance to provide them all the details. Send them proof of continuous contact with your spouse like chat history, call logs, letters, email, skype, facebook, gtalk (whatever you have), tickets and boarding pass if you have visited each other or taken trips together, photographs of places you have visited, photographs with each other's families and friends, photographs of wedding, reception, honeymoon, gift receipts of the gifts you gave to each other, etc. whatever you can think of. I would suggest you take good time to gather all the documents and send them with a cover letter explaining everything. Needless to mention, don't miss the deadline.

Because getting married doesn't automatically mean that a relationship is genuine. VISA officer may not be convinced with docs you provided and need more proof to prove that relationship is genuine.
