Hey guys
I have a query
Incase if i get my ppr
Ill have to sen courier to vfs canada ryt?

M currently in mumbai, so
What if i go personally and hand over my passport
In vfs canada mumbai. Is that possible or do i need to sen courier in Delhi vfs canada

You should never send passport by courier, you should deliver it by yourself.
you will need to take your passport, email print adn 2 visa photographs..

Do you stay in mumbai??????? Submit it in mumbai itself, you cannot trust normal courier guys with ur passport....... you can have mumbai vfs courier it back to you if you like......

Hi Everyone,

CIC received my application for sponsoring my wife on Dec 8, 2015.

I received SA on Feb 3. Today, my wife's PR application status has an "in process" status with the following 3 lines:

1) We received X's application for permanent residence on December 8, 2015.
2) We started processing X's application on February 12, 2016.
3) Medical results have been received.

Based on your experience, how much time will it take for me to receive PPR?

My husband is march 10th applicant.I Did Mp inquiry and I learn that we have to go through an interview and the date is not fixed yet. Can anyone tell me the place where interview is conducted? Is it always new delhi. My husband lives in Punjab.

Yes it is mostly conducted in New delhi coz Canadian Embassy handling Family sponsorship permanent resident application cases r processed there....no need to worry abt interview...jus take it as a part of processing...collect all proofs to prove genuiness of ur relationship n go thru all interview questions gvn on spreadsheet n go thru interview forum....all the best....
Soon u vil get interview date....u may order ur notes by then to knw the main concerns of visa officer to schedual u fr interview so accordingly u can prepare urself.....
Can u kindly let us knw why interview is going to be conducted in ur case according to u???? Any red flags???? Like second marriage/married cousin/age gap/religion difference/early marriage aftr first meet/inadequate amount of documentation with initial application submission/any sort of crime/illegal stay/shrt marriage ceremony////// etc etc etc
May be u wont even hv single of red flags i mentioned ....still sometimes visa officer feels the need to meet the applicant personally n make the final decision...so relax n be cool n prepare urself n knw each other the best....

Welcome to the long waiting game....u hv just step in this processs...surely it will be done soon...currently backlog of 2014 applicants, jan-feb-march 2015 applicants r getting dm/ppr whereas early april 2015 applicants just started to receive remed request email frm ndvo....currently it takes 12-14 months frm the date of application submission to cic to complete the process incase if u r not schedual fr interview....incase of interview or additional document request it may take a little longer.....according to the current trend u may here by oct-nov2015 ....but u never knw if new immigration officer change the strategy of the processing then it can be much quicker then what tentative suggested ...so be positive n keep praying....keep ur fingers crossed....hope fr the best....
When did u do ur initial meds....kindly let us knw ur complete timeline whichever is applicable to u so that it can be properly updated to 2015 spreadsheet.....

She just needs to get her re-medical done and the doctor will send all the info to New Delhi. You don't have to send anything.

Hey...dont worry...dear....its a part of process...did u get remedical...or direct interview....if intrview z not sent by ndvo den its still not sure that u will get it...so stay positive...
