Can a person who is PR HOLDER,stayed in CANADA FOR TWO MONTHS and presently in India can apply pr FOR his family and child?

What are the chances of success and refusal?

Yess surely a pr holder can apply fr his spouse and child....
But pr holder needs to stay in canada while the application submission n for whole of the processing time....surely the sponsor (pr holder)can take shrt vacations fr 2 weeks according to canadian shrt vacation description but many sponsor stay fr a month or a month n half n there is no concern ...bt mostly take ur vacation aftr sponsor approval( jus an advice)
Regarding chances of sucess n refusal.....if u present ur case properly with lot of proof n evidence to prove ur ongoing genuine relationship with no criminal background n no violation of any kind of visa granted in past then there is surely no chance of refusal...
Incase of outland application even aftr refusal u hv chances to appeal ur case.....
Best of luck n dont worry regarding appeal...present ur case properly n gv them as much proof as u can n u vil definately get positive reply frm them sooner or later in first go only....best wishes 8)

Hi Mike, i know the reason that my husband was in australia for 5 years. He was there as a student. we met in 2012 while he was student and i was on my work permit. we were in long distance. after our engagement in India in 2013, he went back to australia and I came back to Canada. for some reason his TR file in australia refused in 2013. we were having plan to settle down in canada and was getting marry within a year. He wanted to stay for a bit in Australia so that he don't have to stay a whole year in India before wedding. and some stupid lawyer friend suggested him to file protection visa(sort of similar to refugee visa). Obviously that visa had to be declined. I wasn't even aware what visa he had applied, but when i found out it was too late. His protection visa declined and he filed to have another review on it. This time i told him to withdraw that file and go back to India. he did that and after 6-7 month i went to India and got married. we applied last year 2015 feb and were sure for a interview.i know it will be hard but will try to go through it. I am pretty sure my husband can clarify that there was a misunderstanding with the refugee visa and protection visa. Just want to know if they are satisfied with the answers how long will they take afterwards plus his medical expired last year in Nov, should he take a fresh one while going on interview

Ur case is slightly tricky,bt dont worry u vil get thru it.......order ur notes asap n check what concern's visa officer is having regarding ur file,accordingly collect all evidences,pictures etc n both of u prepare very well......collect all the evidence as mentioned by mike23 .......
As ur medical is already expired in nov 2015...u should carrying ur medical and it wont be called as remed as ndvo has not yet asked u fr it and u vil be doing it on ur own so u need to do complete medical upfront(take the appointment asap) n even carry new pcc of current residing country, if ur last pcc has been a year old....u may submit both pcc n complete medical wen u go fr interview and wen visa officers r satisfied by ur interview ..
They may take ur passport then n there(in few cases they hv done so)....
Or else u may get directly ppr n u dont hv to wait fr remed request as u hv already gvn ur medical upfront during ur interview...in this way u vil save ur time....
Its not advisable to do remed on ur own in case of straightforward applicants bt ur case is schedual fr interview so surely u can take it n save ur time.....good luck n best wishes to u....

I wanted to ask has anyone got their re - medical done from sadhu vaswani mission medical centre, are they reliable people......

I did my medicals for the student visa then for PR from this center. My wife also did her medicals last year from there. They are reliable and don't exploit. Its a charitable medical center run by Sindhi Community.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I applied in the month of April, 2015 and done my medical in June 2015. Still my medical is not updated in ECAS. Kindly let me know what needs to be done as it already 7 months I did my medical and haven'y heard anything after AOR2 IN June 2015.
