In most of the places already 2015 applications are being processes..... But in new delhi i dont know whats happening these ppl havent completed last years applications and not sure when are they gona start this years apllications...... Dont know when this wait is gona be completed .....feeling sick and worried becoz of ndvo...

Don't worry Maggy. Time will fly trust me just keep yourself busy with work or studies. Even you can prepare for your love one to land in Canada. It says 16 months to process part 2 (final) sponsorship so far for me it has been 3/16 months. Just hang tight. Hope fully in the next 6 months we'll have our application upgraded to under process....

Seems like we are in a similar timeline Mateen_aka. Maggy from the 2014 thread looks like its taking 8-9 months once the file has reached NDVO so keep your self busy and it will go quickly

Yes unfortunately NDVO is working at a slower pace for some reason and they are stuck in July 2014 for 2 months now though some Aug/Sept applicants have got in progress so who knows :)

Hi am Priya ...I am about to sponsor my hubby who is in INdia . I am on my PR. We got married in FEb 2015.

I got few questions please help...

1. I got all the documents notarized from INdia when I was there.

So, the application my husband need to send should it be kept in an closed envelope and post to me. ( I got all the papers already)

So should I need to send a closed envelope of my husbands part of application along with mine or can I just send together.

Please, advise

Thank you

You're not the only one that hasn't been issued AOR2. It's good at least they have received your medical. They still haven't even received my medical and I'm January applicant. If you're worried if your application hasn't been received by New Delhi, what you should do is call CIC and ask if they have record of your application and ask for the date of received in New Delhi so you have something to refer to when figuring out how long has it been since you've applied. That's what I did and I know now that they received it but I forgot to ask for the date. Make sure to call early in the morning if you're planning to call tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Yeah I agree with you. My cousin's wife that came from Afghanista just landed in Canada and took around 3 years. It makes sense since they are switching applications from Islamabad, Pakistan to New Delhi, India. From 36 months waiting times to 16 months which is good. I believe the date was March 2014 when they started switching application. People that applied before March 2014 have to suffer from the transferring and longer wait times. It's has its advantages and disadvantages. Don't forget now that New Delhi has applications that are coming from India, Afghanistan, and Nepal.

Hi would anyone know if I am allowed to apply for visit visa to canada for my wife and new born in india while the Sponsorship application is in process?

Hi Dhaliwal82,

Sometimes, CIC just doesn't send AOR2. Why don't you just CIC call centre to enquire about it.

NDVO is like a turtle...so slow :( :(

Hey,

Yes she can apply for visit visa and it does not affect the PR application. She will have to show strong ties to India to prove she will go back after the visit.
