We applied on September 2015 and they started processing our application on Sep 24, 2015. My husband was called for an interview in Delhi on Nov 11, 2016 and my husband had to leave USA as he didn't get enough time to apply for a travel visa so now he is stuck in our homecountry until he lands n Canada. My husband went for the interview in Delhi only to find out that we were missing the FBI report from the USA which for god sake takes 2 months to process and almost 1-2 months to ship, so we wasted a total of 5 months just to get another FBI report.
After the interview, we finally heard from them on March 22,2017 where they asked for a copy of his MRP passport and we got so excited when we saw the email (it wasn't an official type of email that usually the visa office sends), however, they again emailed us on April 5th 2017 requesting for a "photocopy" of his passport. Like seriously??? Again??? But this time it was an official email referring to the application for admission to Canada. Any idea why are they asking for the same thing twice??? And now we are just waiting for them to ask us for passport request email not for a photocopy.
Do they email us on the weekends? Or is just on the weekdays? I have been going crazy over this. It's been 3 weeks since we sent them the photocopy and we still haven't heard from them. I am too frustrated and stressed with this whole thing. It's affecting my lifestyle and I feel like am mentally stressed out and exhausted because of this. They gave us until April 5th to submit the photocopy. Is that why we still haven't heard from them? Will they only ask for the passport after this deadline? Does anybody have any experience with this? Like how long do they usually take to ask for the passport once we have sent them the photocopy?
