Hi I am just been a silent reader on this forum. I want to thanks you all who give there precious time to help others. I am aug 20 Applicant 2015, 1st may got Additional Document ,Interview on 10th Nov ,Decision made on 4th Dec Got the passport back on 6th Dec (Shiny Visa). It was my wife second marriage (First was intercaste) and my first wedding, What they asked me in the interview: How did u fall in love, Without meeting u said I love u. U had a business in delhi and u stayed in canada for 5 months with your wife on tourist visa, how did u do your business that time,Why there wasn't any reception,Why there were less guests in your wedding I mentioned 30, What I can advise everyone is do not lie in interview. Always take your wife or husband with you in interview coz canadian talking to canadian helps a lot especially if you are born there. If your wife gets pregnant or had miscarriage this can be your biggest proof ever. I took so much printing of Skype ,Whats app, Pictures & other document he didn't even bother to look. He just looked at the pictures and document i sent at the time of additional document request. The most important person who helped me in getting my PR was M.P. She called every week to cic and kept pushing the file. I do not know how to thank her but she played a very important role. All the best guys.

Explain properly how you fell in love
Your visit before you decided u r getting married
Honeymoon pictures
Reception Pictures
A lot of people say if you mention Love marriage in your application you are inviting an interview so if parents involved then its kind of love cum arrange
MP Plays a very important role
BE truthful
Take wife/ husband for interview
Pregnant or miscarriage take some kind of proof it helps a lot
Anniversary celebration / Birthday /New Year /Helping spouse financially.
Whats App Details
Telephone Bills or records coz if u have canadian landline you won't get a record from a company unless u get charged for it
If you have a indian prepaid mobile or Landline you won't get incoming details unless u get charged.

Believe me it will happen when it is supposed to. Keep yourself busy. I know its hard when u away from wife. Do pray everyday and god will listen to you.

Is it a negative sign? Please help

There is nothing negative about interview.They usually just want to clarify few things that they might not be sure off.Good part of the interview most of the time they tell you on spot if they are approving your file or not.

Hi, I too have applied on October 26th 2015,and have done upfront medic exam. In Sept 2015....its expired now.... And sponsorship status shows decision made.... It's already been 14months now... Can anyone tell me how long do I have to wait to hear from them? There is no email or letter for remedical exam. Or interview or anything like that..... My husband made a visit to MP... But there is no update from them too..... Few says send a reminder letter at Delhi office, some. Say wait for few more months...dont understand what to do... Kindly help.....

Hello Guys,

I applied for my wife in Oct 2015.
The application details shows me that the Review of Eligibility : Review in Process.

What does it mean. This is just a second step of it and they haven't even clear that part. How long it would take? It's so frustrating. Anyone like me please message me.

Hello guis,
My status has changed to Decision Made since today morning. Here is the time line for the past few days
On 3rd Jan My wife has done her medical.
On 4th Jan I updated my mailing address and resident address to cic.gc.ca (but still showing old address till date)
on 5th Jan I removed my representative and linked application to GC key (but it seems noting is updated there)
On 6th Jan I went to MP's office and requested to send email to visa office with Medical receipt, Cancellation of representative and address change details. but before the person in MP's office sends email to visa office, online status has changed to Decision made. Please advise your thought on it, is it positive?
Should I wait for atleast one week for MP office to get some kind of response, before I email them for the same?
