we did mp enquiry last week.
everything passed except bckgrnd ND criminality not started.
we r Feb 2015 applicant..it is going to be 19 months..why they taking so long

one thing i would like to say..go for case specific enquiry...ndvo have to clear your case in 30days..as your case is going out of time limit..

Hi k.kaur,

Background and criminality can usually take quite long. Do your notes say eligibility is passed? Also, you should push thru from your MP as MPs can push CIC to make a decision once the posted time limit has been reached. We are also Feb 2015 applicants and still waiting to hear back after our interview and I have touched base with MP to try and escalate the decision from CIC since we are sitting at the 18th month already.

Congratulations!! Did you submit a new PCC and medical at the time of your interview?? Also, have you received any emails from CIC as well?

yeah ....acco.to notes...eligibility passed,interview waived,remed done on 2 June 2016...after that we r waiting for ppr

I would say contact your MP and tell them that as per your notes everything is clear so what is the hold up? And pretty sure they will be able to push them to send u the PPR since it is nearing the 19 month mark unless the criminality isn't completed because criminality is typically given to a third party which is beyond their control for time it takes that is why background and criminality take a longer time sometimes.

How come people who applied in February, 2015 are waiting for an update and people who applied in September, 2015 have close to approved applications? No offense to any of the applicants whose visa got approved. I am really happy that the applications are getting approved. I just want to know if NDVO organizes the applications by application date or just picks one at random?

No interview at all. Just re-medical on 4th July and decision made status on 5th of Aug.

Actually asked for another X-ray, so we submitted on 11 July. And they submitted remedical result on 27 July.
