I processed application on april 01 and its showing In process since November 28, 2014.
The status has not changed as yet...When can i expect next update

It means your case is in process now. It's a good sign. Keep checking your online status. It will be changed to DM soon.

Applied on December 17 . So still a long way to go . Looks like nominal time takes to Process is 9 months . Hope we get earlier

Not anymore...Normal time from 2014 is at least 1 year. Used to be 6-9 months in 2013. Lets see what 2015 brings in.

Finished Medical in August 2014
Sent Form November 18, CIC received it November 19
and they still haven't opened it because they are working on October 16, 2014 applications at the moment.
And the website does not update weekly like it says...

They have raised processing months from 9 to 13 in India.

They do biweekly. I will suggest you to check your online status on Friday or Sunday. These are two days when they most of the time updates.
