NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Hello Everyone
Got my Passport request mail today..Feeling very happy ;D
But i hv 1 doubt..we need to send passport to VFS n they ll send it forward to Canada Embassy but VFS office are only in some cities like Mumbai pune delhi chandigarh banglore etc..So how can i send them if i m staying in small city which is far away from each centre..There is no option of sending through courier to VFS office? Do i have to go in person to Delhi or Mumbai as i dnt know anyone there?

Congratulations. I wish everyone else (including me) waiting for DM/PPR gets it quicker too.

I think VFS is the only option to send your passport to NDVO. And to get your passport to VFS, there are 2 options. 1 - You go in person with passport to your nearest VFS Center or 2 - you authorize someone to submit your passport. But I would say go in person.

Hi bro, you could check status of your file by applying gcms notes,case specific enquiry. There are so many people here who are stuck after remedical. Please update you profile with your timeline.

i hv already done case specific enquiry but hv to wait for like a month ...
i also did mp enquiry last week but no reply yet ... do mp's take that long to reply...

How long does it take for "Background checks" after interview?



Its been more than 15 days after interview passed but still no re-medical, did MP enquiry today and they said background checks are going on.

no idea depends on travel history 3 to 6 months minimum sometimes takes year or long.absulutely no clue every case is different and it's not in hands of CIC

hey every one i did mp inquiry regarding my husbands interview which happened two months ago and they did not respond. she said that so far criminality is passed eligibility is passed but security is under process. does eligibility being passed means that they have approved the interview? also what comes under security.

yes it means your interview is passed hopefully you will hear good news very soon.to many applicants stuck into security checks they are taking so long to finalise the application
