Hello everyone,

I have a query, there r 2 types of remedical requests which we are getting...one is reassesment and other is remedical..I have got the remedical request but it states that ur visa enquiry has come to the stage where we need medical examination..

And other is.. your medical has been expired hence we need you to do the remedical..and it mentions all the things which u need to do specifically..chest xray...

I am not sure ..is there a difference between them?? If yes..then wat is the difference..m confused...please help.

* when the validity of the medical certificate is about to expire and the applicant is unable to land before it expires.

Nice research but y are ppl whose meds expire in Jan 2016 are given this now .thy hv still lotz of tym pending n this link only says abt to expire before landing . as per my understanding ,after this medical reassement is given it changes to DM n can land . so wtz the necessity for them for Jan meds guys I still don't get it

Mine shows no sign of remedical...but my medical has also expired... dey just sent an email stating that your application has reached the level where medical is required..dey didnt mention anything about remedical or reassesment in that.m confused. .

when did u get the mail . just take the mail to the clinic thrz no need to think further on it

oh, we got request on 27th , and got it done on 28th .
have you heard from anyone getting ppr after getting the re-assessment done ?

No I haven't. I think one person who did remed on Oct 28th got PPR on Nov 9th. Which means its around 8 days for them. Hope its the same for us.

Is there anyone who recently sent the passport via vfs after PPr and received it back....can u tell me how long does it take for the passport to arrive back????

Or anyone having idea how long does it take for visa to be stamped n passport to be returned to applicant?

what does aor2 mean?if that mean acknowledgment of reciept to principal applicant stating their UCI then yes my spouse got that a long time ago
i did get doc request and had sent it a while ago

Yes AOR2 means the acknowledgment. You need to give your full timeline as I have under my username so people can help you

No I haven't. I think one person who did remed on Oct 28th got PPR on Nov 9th. Which means its around 8 days for them. Hope its the same for us.

Yes from what I have seen is usually people get it in two weeks after re-meds and if you dont get it in that time its varies from 2-3 months. We are waiting since Sept 23rd.

My wife is March 2015 applicant. She has been in Canada with me on TRV since 01 March 2015 so NDVO will ask for RCMP clearance. I would like to do it in advance. How to go about it? If any one else has experience, kindly share..

We are getting a little worried since its close to being 11 weeks since re-meds any suggestions? We have already ordered the notes and the MP said they got a reply for last month's inquiry that we are still in the 17 months bla bla..

She didnt get any thing after doing the re-meds other than the receipt since the doc sends the meds directly... anyone been in this situation?

Will they ask for PCC again?

Yes we are in the same situation.It's been more than 15 weeks since remedical for us..no updates after that..we did mp inquiry 3 weeks before and MP didn't get a reply from NDVO till now..also we ordered note yesterday

Don't stress out . ecas is down .some update/maintainance goin .lets b positive
