I had also recd the request to send the travel history for.
We had filled both mine and my spouses travel details including each time he came to India and it was quite a long list. you have to send it by post only.
Good news is my PPR came in a month after I sent those.

We too were asked for travel details and it was a huge set of papers . We too sent it by post ONLY.
I got my ppr in 2 months

You don't have to do re-medical unless asked by NDVO.

Second, it is IMPORTANT to let NDVO know that your wife is in Canada and now has stayed more than 6 months. Then they will be asking for PCC from you (RCMP one).

I am sure senior members would agree with me.

Thanks for your response. I will inform NDVO that I am currently in Canada for last 6 months and wait till they ask anything. I hope this doesn't further delay my application if they request PCC later.
Also, someone in this forum suggested that PCC is required till the date application is filed. So,little confusing. Welcome any suggestions from Seniors.

Lol!! People who have applied under EE say their applications are moving slowly because of 2014 application backlog. And you guys say your applications are moving slowly because of express entry!!

I bet the VO s are laughing at both the groups with donuts and coffee in their hands!!!

I just received my notes on Nov 17. Applied on Oct 20 for them. Nothing is started yet only medical is passed, I got in IP on Oct 9 as all of other people did. I am. Applying for Visitor visa tom,hoping for the best.

From the statistical data provided in the data portal of canada governament website.
The number of applications for spouse category for 2014 was the highest in the past 5 years. On avg NDVO receives about 900 - 1400 applications under this category per month.
However, in 2014 this number is highest. In months of may, june, july and august - each month they received about 3200 applications on avg for these 4 months.
2014 asia pacific region family sponsor applications received were 30000 approx and India alone received more than 10000 applications. You can imagine now.
So, you can understand they are laging behind due to number of applications. also the fact they prioritised nepal applicants would add another month.
There is nothing we can do but understand the fact that they are dealing with heavy influx of applications where Harper gov cut budjet for immigration and limited to 45 million. I.e. less number of people to process applications.

17 months just to check genuinity of marriage ,i mean it would be better if new govt says immigration dept to attend marriage to check genuinity n enjoy dance n food over there , fun n work both in 1 day file cleared in 1 day

Not sure if english version is working but for sure french one is working. Once you download you have an option to change language.

You should take as much jewelry the FIRST TIME because you are immigrating as PR and can bring everything that you own. The subsequent trips you make don't count.
You can also declare "Goods to arrive later" form if you are shipping anything separately. I don't know how many months is the limit after you land as PR.

Hi rambo my wife is coming soon... does she need a separate declaration form like a special one or does she just use to one she recieves on her flight??

Does anyone know what a new PR needs to bring with them besides passports is there any other type of forms or paper work you need to bring with you?

Also if there is any other forms or paper where do you get them??

Hey my wife is Apr 2015 applicant and u guys won't believe and so do I that one of my friend who got married later than us got Visa stamped (June 2015 applicant). This is soo damn shocking for me reading this blog ever since I applied for my wife and where 2014 applicants are still waiting for their lucky day.. how can this be possible..?

Your friend is lying , if he applied as a PR
