S, it takes 2 to 3 months of time I've couple of friends who are still waiting.
They got fingerprints scanning request on first week of July. They even did case specific inquiry got a reply from them to wait as they have transferred the file to Canada.
If no travel history it takes 2 to 3 weeks of time not more than that.

I think NDVO generaly call candidates with more than 6 months Canada stay at CHC at new delhi for taking fresh again fingerprints, Then NDVO forward fingerprints to RCMP Canada for travel history criminality or overstay violation of visa check. I dt think NDVO sends complete file again to CIC missisuaga Canada . We will apply GCMS notice in November to know wether interview recomended or waived and about travel history or crimnality checks. I think last date to complete travel history is 1 year time period from the date when application reach at NDVO means AOR 2. We will get more information in notice. NDVO 2015-16 processing time 13-15 months and will take 3 months extra time for travel history check. total 16-18 months ... I think. Thanks for reply. Good luck to all other applicants.

Hi, can you help me with information, we are in process since September 26th and from our PM we just found out we will have interview, can somebody tell me how long in takes to get the interview letter? We are November applicants. Does it mean that in the next 6 months we will be still waiting for the PR. I am so tired of waiting, 11 months waited only for them to start to proceed the application.

If there is an interview then you have to wait until they schedule your interview date. They will send a letter prior to interview date roughly month ahead of interview schedule date.

I know it's agonizing but you got no choice but to be patient till your interview is done. Make sure you submit fresh medicals upfront so they don't waste your more time.

I am oct 7, 2014 and my file is not in process and feel your pain man.

good luck.

Hi Sadafadil,
You are such a sweetheart! Thank you so much :) Yes, when I saw my status changed to decision made 2 weeks back I did jump and hugged my daughter and told her daddy will definitely be here for Halloween. I have been giving her hopes and breaking her heart and this time I don't want to be wrong. As you said and I also hope by this coming week we do get to hear something. Wish you all the very best and hope we both get to some good news soon. In Shaa Allah.

Hey again!
It's always a pleasure to bring some positivity for someone. I've had a rough 1.5 years of married life and I can understand how things like a delay in the processing of a visa can have a major impact on our personal lives. Don't think the officers at NDVO realise that. Anyway, better late than never. Wishing you a speedy visa and much happiness ahead. InshaAllah, we will get our visas soon.

Thank you Vicky for your reply.yes Vicky, we will bring fresh medicals, our are still valide they expire November 5th and i was hoping by then to get our interview scheduled but now i am compleatlly confused and lost. Can somebody tell me how many times per year they schedule interviews? I cant wait 4 more months only for the interview letter. I am very pissed off now, those people have no mercy on us. I am so scared, what if they decide that our marriage is not genuine...I have no idea what to expect, we printed chats, emails, skype, cards, more pictures...

If I remember correctly the last person on this thread to get an interview was jugraj goraya for Nov. He/She is an April 24, 2014 applicant I would say it would be a couple of months before they schedule interview for Nov appicants. Hang in there

You must wait. There is no other option and i know it sucks. When i visited my wife in August my wife sent more documents to NDVO indicating case file and UCI numbers on file. you can go ahead and send documents if you think they can help your case and are not contradicting ( creating problems with what u already sent).

I do not know what documents you have and why they decided to do interview in your case but...now you have a chance to prove that you are in legit relationship or not,so make sure you are ready to go and bring it.

( it will take full 17 months once file reach to delhi till they schedule your interview date and fck-ing sucks. ) In my case i will be celebrating my second annivery with my wife over the phone if you call that celebrating

I am in a same boat as you are and i have to wait till they arrange interview dates. life is bi.tch. if you don't know now you know.

Good luck

17 monthssssssss...come on people dont kill me :o >:(

When we decided to get married to a person from outside the country, should have gotten ready for the waiting game. No pain, no gain. Especially when NDVO gives you the estimated wait time on the website even before you get married! So we should already be ready for worst case scenario which is 17 months, or the best case scenario which is 8-10 months.

Also, I got a personal message from a forum member "jbanwait2".
His application date is on May 2nd, 2014. He got an interview letter on Oct. 1st, 2015 and his interview is scheduled for November 9th, 2015.

Gori, please do an extrapolation from that and you can estimate when you will receive your interview letter.

regards,

Hi ARPC123,
I don't think it has anything to do with travel history as my husband stayed out of India for 2 years and we had to submit PCC of that country. We July applicants are just badly stuck. Don't worry I am sure you will get your decision made soon but even after decision made I am still waiting! Have u tried calling the MP office? That's what I have been doing, is calling the MP office and they have been giving me updates. I have never ordered notes though. Don't worry just hang in there.

Thank you very much arika....You are right.. We july applicants are struggling from this January....
You will get your visa soon.... This time you won't go wrong :) your daughter will meet her daddy for this halloween or even before....
Good Luck....
