nothing to worry about it. two days back i did my re-meds. we got to do simple things like copies of passport, original passport, passport size photos, copy of re assessment form. that's it...everything else will be filled by the doctor.

There is no written rule in CIC that second marriage cases & less photo cases should be delayed. But it unwritten rules.
Few people get luckly as its depends on visa officer and only a few visa officers are nice.
But at end of day for every 10 second marriage cases 7-8 there will be delays only 2-3 is processed faster.

Am currently here in Canada on a TRV.
On June 11th my file Changed status to IP. A month later I got a request for :
1. Re Medical
2. Travel History Info form.
3. Background declaration form - IMM5669

Before I left India, I got re medicals done, now, I just submitted the UMI number, which was issued by the hospital.
The other documents were also compiled and I couriered all the requirements on Saturday, it's gonna reach NDVO tomorrow.

I have been reading every post here and wish to clarify on a few points:
1. Not everybody with a second marriage is queued for an interview. Ours is a second marriage and we had submitted 12 marriage pics along with our application and in the first GCMS notes, our relationship was established as genuine. The second notes also confirms the fact.

2. There was no interview recommended for us.

3. As per the second GCMS notes, Criminality and Security check has not been started.

4. We had done an MP enquiry ,even this aspect is listed in the GCMS notes. (All in all 44 pages notes )

Now that the additional documents are submitted, we too are keeping our fingers crossed in respect to the next move from NDVO.
Am returning to India in November, hoping to hear from NDVO with a PPR.

I was requested additional documents from NDVO
But in the email they havent listed their address.
Can someone tell me what the address is? And has anyone shipped to them via fedex?
I am in Canada and my spouse is in US
We are trying to ship it from US

that's the one. We had a adr as well and that was the address it stated to send the documents to. Infact, here is how it is exactly in our ADR letter:

Po boxes are only for postal departments
If you are going via private couriers
Remove the po box
Immigration Section / Section de l'immigration

That's what I did while sending the additional docs even the immigration officer had e mailed me this address

I would suggest you to go via courier services as you get the acknowledgment receipt from them you can track your courier moreover courier would be delivered to the receptionist where she will stamp in the receipt.
If you are going through postal department you can track your courier only problem is your courier would be put in the po box and you won't get any stamp in the acknowledgment receipt

A new line is added that we started processing ur application on oct 29, 2014

Hi Ella Hibibi,

There's a delay for August / July Applicants because due to the Earthquake in Nepal and I believe there are some outdated forms another member was stating awhile ago that CIC has contacted with him. The Earthquake in Nepal has caused Citizenship and Immigration Canada to quickly finish applications from Nepal causing a delay for the rest of us. I am also a Afghanistan Applicant and I'm still waiting for a reply from them. Inshallah, we will hear something soon in a couple of months from now.
