hi i have the same time line application received sep 16 SA oct 29 Aor2: nov 12. Could u pls share with us the info u got from the first notes and when did apply for the second set.

yeah we applied for the first notes which was actually a wrong timing...it was stated as IN PROGRESS. Nothing was started except medicals status was passed.the second set of notes we applied july 20th. Just couldn't get to understand how NDVO works on our files...its just ramdom :'(

I'm October 2014 applicant. Yeasday I receive a e mail from Delhi immigration office. They ask me for my FBI clearance certificate . I was already submitted with my other papers but they ask again. So today I mailed agin. They ask me to submit before sept 22 2014. They before my medical expire...now I see some hope.

Are you residing in USA?
I think FBI clearance is valid only for 6 months.

Hi, Are you currently staying in USA, or did you left USA after getting that previous FBI certificate. If yes then it's fine, otherwise there is no logic to ask for police certificate again, once you already left that country before getting that certificate and never visited again after getting that previous certificate.

I am not sure what are the NDVO people doing, 16 months is too long wait. Its leading into depression for us. Not sure when would my status change.

SA : 03/17/2015
File transfer to NDVO : 16/04/2015
Online status: application received , nothing changed from this. Sent PCC and E medicals with the file.
Also contacted NDVO with the online case specific inquiry : NO REPLY

Any one any updates ? Will help

It's been 8 months since you applied. Currently, NDVO is working on files that got SA in Nov./Dec.
They haven't started working on files that were received (AOR2) in 2015 yet. (according to the 2014 spreadsheet)

So have patience. Keep yourself occupied with hobbies, work, movies, tv shows. Just do whatever you used to do before being married. Enjoy time with your friends because once you leave, you won't get to see them often.

Hi all i checked mu wife's ECAS status just now it has now changed to Decition Made....... We are getting really tensed as She didnt get and email for PPR............ Feeling confused about what ill come in the following days........ But keeping out good hope that everything will be fine. Thanks for all who helped me......... This forum is awsome when........ Hope all of you will get rid of this painful wait sooner......... Thanks to all again for your support and congrats to all those who got PPR.......... and gone further in processing.

I had this issue and found the solution, hopefully others with similar situation can benefit.

I was able to check on-line status till few months back, but suddenly it started giving me that weird error. I tried with my name and also with my wife's name and UCI etc.
In our case it was because of last name (Singh and Kaur), so they updated system or something and new system won't accept that as last name, but if I put full name in Last Name field, wollaaaaaa it works.

So try putting full name and see if that helps.

Looks like someone at CIC is having too much time on their hand going around updating address on ecas. my wife applied for trv from middle east and had put in the local address on that application. so, someone decided to update on ecas her mailing and residential address to the one there instead of india. hmmm, this is after i sent them a change of address form last april which they easily ignored and didnt bother to update ( as per notes as well as ecas) but this they went ahead and did it on their own.

Thanks for your wishes andmedicals ill expire by augest 22 as per notes and we are waiting for PPR or else what....... I dont know really stressed about it.

Yes actually she did her medicals on July 21 and for some kind of reason the expiry date for medicals is augest 21 in the notes that i received. But I appericate NDVO for doing such a great favour.
