Just saw a post from someone and then checked the cic website. Generic application form IMM 0008 has been updated.

So anyone who is applying get the new form and whoever is still waiting on SA from Mississauga can expect a new form request which is pathetic.

I don't know about everyone but i'll tell what we got when my wife submitted her passport at VFS Jalandhar.

First SMS she got was that your PP has been sent to Chandigarh for processing.
Second Your PP has been dispatched to local VFS Jalandhar.
After 2 days she got a call from VFS saying your PP is ready you never picked it up, do you want us to courier it to you or you will collect it?

That's what we faced but it can be different too.

Same my hubby did. VFS called him as asked him whats his preference (courier or by hand) to get his passport, He said I will come and pick it up and then VFS gave him time to collect his passport.

Pamma: I think you love this forum so much joke apart. In these days they send finger prints request as well. Actually my mom she applied for her citizenship. she got this all process Thats what I know.

No no Citizenship thing is different everyone has to do finger prints for that.. this one is our application form which we submit along with other forms. Now they changed it so whoever used the old form and they are still waiting for cic to touch their file will have to re-send new form bcoz they will ask for the new one.

Its not necessary that they ask for new form. If you verify it with earlier form nothing has changed. The applicants who are sending their applications now have to send the updated forms. They only ask for the updated form, if there are substantial changes.
