people with travel history usually have to wait a lil longer. I got my DM after being IP for 86 days.

Hi KT,

Do you have travel history as well , if yes for which country ??

that is not a ppr. it is just document photocopies of passport. I also submitted in September. it was a same mail. but why ndvo ask for the photocopies of passport. I think it might be for security check. I guess.

it is a request for first and last page of the passport....not ppr.....it is good news buddy....they are working on your file....send the document asap....one more copy.....

if you have a scanned copy, then do a case specific enquiry, attach the fist and last page of the passport and tell them you have already submitted it with the orginal application set.(if that is true)

Indian postal service will identify your state by your pin code.
Passport will be delivered by monday or worst case scenerio till tuesday evening.
Good luck and cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Customs and immigration in Canada have not set any parameter's for the quantity of jewellery to be accompanied by the first time immigrants.
There is no set limit.
However it is recommended that you must have a photograph of the jewellery you are carrying.
Cash up to $10,000 need not be declared, however you may carry any amount of cash but declare, in case it exceeds $10,000.
PS: You do not have to pay any custom duty or tax. :)

Although it is not required but it depend's upon your circumstances.
People need invoices due to the regulations of home and its content's insurance.
In case your home is insured i,e (you guy's own it and not rented) I strongly recommend you to carry the invoices and summary of your jewellery.
Feel free to ask, in case you have any further questions.
Bobby.
