Hello all,

Sorry have been a bit more caught up lately.
I just got my passport back with visa and leaving in a week.

Usually being away leads to being upset and thats how i passed these 10 months.. But this forum and people here have always been warm in sharing feelings and making things seem better.
Definitely a best place to resort to, when ur stuck.

Thanks to one and all and i seriously pray everyone gets their visas well sooner and in time.

I'm getting married this November.My fiance works in Alberta, Canada. i want to start living with my fiance soon after we are married. Please enlighten me about the best possible way that will allow me to settle with my fiance asap. And also help me the the timeline of the applications such as Spouse visa and Visitor visa.
note- My fiance is on work permit. No PR yet.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I got my passport request yesterday!! Submitted it yesterday itself at the VFS mumbai center...

Hoping to get the same back soon, although they said it will take over 10 working days. Fingers crossed it comes soon and there are no more delays..

Hi IND_CAN,
As you are not applying for the Family Class Sponsorship .... it is not the right thread.
More over as your husband is still on work permit so the case is simple .
After marriage get your Marriage Certificate and apply for the Visitor Visa for 3 months (by which you can get the visa with in a week or 2) on coming to canada you can convert it to depend open workpermit. Buy this you don't have to wait. Probably you can check with other experienced person for better info.
