I got my OMG moment today guys. File shows IP since sep 29 however it was updated online today. In line for the ppr now

I am new to this forum and observing it from last couple of months.
I have applied my spouse case on 14 Feb 2014.
My ecas shows IN PROCESS on 08 Sept 2014 and on 09 Sept 2014 they emailed me to send a copies of TRAVEL DOCUMENT / PASSPORT.
I send my copies of passport and my original passport very next day.
After that no reply from them.
I think due to my travel history they asked me coz i spend 5 - 6 years in Australia and in Newzealand.
Is it right???????

Welcome to the forum and congratulations for the IP status...
I think its a PPR (passport request)...
Because after IP status if they asked for passport then its for visa...
ppl on this forum got PPR request after IP and got visa in a week time...
in ur case they may be taking this long cuz of travel history..
but dnt worry soon u will get ur passport with shiny visa..
keep checking ur mail for any further update and ecas too as may be they will change ur status from IP to DM very soon...

Hi rajreet I am from ahmedabad. I also got request of photocopies of passport in 25 th june . but after then I didnt got any update till date. status still in process.

I have also travelled and lived in Europe for about 3 years.. but i have given all the copies and PCC too... tilk now they haven't asked for any document. . I hope they dont ask.. my husband applied through a lawyer in Canada. . Hmm.. i hope everything goes well.. these things are sometimes purely stressful that what doc they want and ehat they don't want :

Sorry dear i dnt want to discourage anyone..
Its case to case...
Usually travel history not affect ur case processing..
But in certain cases it might take few days for background check which includes ur travel history too..
I m not sure.. dnt worry.. may be seniors will tell you little more about it...
Like in above mentioned case thay asked for passport n kept it for more than 20 days so i m just saying..

Hi Everyone

My wife is a March 2014 applicant. New Delhi office has asked her for re-medicals on Sept 19th as her medicals got expired. Her online status changed to In Process on Sept 19th.
She re did her medicals and re submitted it on Sept 22nd. It is still showing In Process. Does anyone know how long will they take to reassess the medicals ?

Does anyone have the same case as mine ?
