It has happened time to time. Some of my relatives from Punjab got request to send their passports to Chandigarh visa office last year. And one of my friend sent the passport to New Delhi and got a call from Chandigarh visa office to come and collect his passport from there.

i have sent my passport to New Delhi for visa issuance 2 days ago after i got PPR last week. Can u plz tell me how long will take for NDVO to issue my visa and approximately how long i have to wait to receive my passport back? plz help.

Hi Ntnaveen, that's good to hear! When ur friends wife got a call today, was it also from bangalore? Basically, Im wondering whether processing is happening in different cities now and not just the NDVO. Also, as you said he should get a DM soon, did your friend's wife get DM soon?

She got a call yesterday and it was from new Delhi...this was the e-mail address asked to send the passport

jab b apna account kholti hu to yahi sochti hu ki IP ho gya hoga... but nthnnnn...
