Now it seems, the generic letters for PCC and RPRF are kind of diversion to keep the ball rolling and had nothing to do with the files.

But it seems like, when they start processing, they could finish the files lot quicker than before.

Hope this happens and we start receiving ppr by August.... Lets stay positive... 8)

I heard some January 2014 Applicants received PPR.

Was going thru the 2013 forum page, and it appears a lot of the applicants had to go for re-medicals due to delays at NDVO. If the trend/delays continue, quite a few of us 2014 applicants will have to get our meds done again!

Hi,

My hard luck.. we first applied for visiting visa as PR takes time n i had resigned in March.. Now its been 5 months... i am new to this forum n didnt apply for new job in the hope of getting my visa sooner... now after listening all these updates i m planning to join some part time job.. I dont know why god is testing our patience level...

Can anyone suggest that i m april applicant.. so when do i expect to get my visa??

Sailing in the same boat... I too resigned in March thinking it would take hardly any time... My husband and I referred to timelines of a friend who got her Spousal class PR 2 years ago within 5 months.. We got married in Nov but couldn't apply immediately as I was in the USA for 2yrs and needed police clearance from there which took almost 3 months.. Then CIC lost my application which they found after a lot of coaxing (We found out about it only after those timelines were crossed - It took 100+ days for it to be transferred to NDVO)... So technically, 6 months down the drain.. and now that I know there is a longer wait ahead of me, I really don't know how to handle this disappointment.. :'( :-X

Well I don't have that info but as soon as i get i will share with you guys. 1 more interesting thing is they had 2 files one more application from the family but that person did not get any ppr yet.
