NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Hi All,

Just wondering what's happening with High Commission of Canada, New Delhi folks....?

I filed my spouse sponsorship application somewhere in the end of June 2014.

Mississauga office received the file on July 4th, 2014.

Mississauga office forward the file to New Delhi, AOR received on Aug 25th, 2014 and a decision was made on sponsorship eligibility.

Sep 8th High commission of Canada, New Delhi office requested for Right to Permanent Residency fee and Police Clearance Certificates.

ECAS current status is Decision Made; Medicals Received and Application Received.

Any clue/ guess on When can I expect to see a change in status to "In Process" and Passport Request??

Please kindly advise and help.

Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander will visit Bengaluru on January 13 and Chennai on January 14.
In Bengaluru, Alexander will officially inaugurate the visa office at the Consulate General of Canada. He will be accompanied by the High Commissioner for Canada to India, Mr. Nadir Patel.
Speaking of the upcoming inauguration, Minister Alexander said: "Canada has welcomed generations of newcomers from India who have helped to build a pluralistic and prosperous Canada. In 2013, we issued more than 130,000 visas to Indian citizens, an increase of 14 percent since 2008. Canada's network of visa offices is fundamental to these achievements, and in providing valuable services to Indians who wish to visit, study or do business with Canada. I'm delighted to be here to highlight the expansion of that network to South India."
Alexander will meet with government officials, business leaders and academicians in both Bengaluru and Chennai, while highlighting Citizenship and Immigration Canada's programs in India, such as the Start-up Visa, Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Pilot Program the newly-launched Express Entry.
Express Entry will result in faster processing and will allow the Government of Canada to be more flexible and respond better to Canada's changing labour market needs.
Alexander's journey to South India follows his attendance at Vibrant Gujarat in Gandhinagar, where he led the official Canadian delegation. (ANI)

Yaar status does not matter I am in process since 3rd dec others who got ip on that day even after that are getting ppr dm
So both situations are killing us day by day .

Thats sas Escab. But dont worry. It will soon be Decision made for u..

Hi guys, if they decide at IP time that applicant is RFV ( Ready for Visa) then y they keep people
stuck for 1 to 3 months...I am on IP since Dec 15. Pamma veer nu many congrats....

Hi Rav_29 im also June 27, 2014 application and status still AR,MR... ??? ??? i paid my right of landing fee after cic requested it ..maybe thats the delay I don't know.. really hoping everyone gets good news especially jan feb mar apr applications

Hi kamila_26H. Yes I too got the same request asking for Landing fees and PCC's. Alll submitted in October. Since then no news!
