Because of less Student Application LOAD

Hi Karen, do not understand how most files go from "in process" to "decision made "within a few weeks. But some some files like ours is in process for over 6 wks and longer.Have no previous travel history on passport at all. So what could be holding it ? This is very confusing.Can anyone shed any light on this?

Did MP enq and just got a generic response, verbal only. Told by MLA office that they cannot respond via email anymore just verbal?? Rec'd generic response, please allow 15 months for process and only make enquiries of this time have lapsed,

Please advise if you know why so much discrepancy?

I believe all they care about their timeline some officer put in process at the start of and some officer don't care about it all directly AR/MR to DM.
I think it depends from person to person
I got call from NDVO they took my interview but My status is AR/MR this cant be possible.
So Ecas status is not a consistent thing to guess about your timeline
Some People say if you got In process then you clear the stage the genuity of marriage and now they are doing background check
some people called for interview in "IN Process status"
Some people get PPR with AR/MR status the DM after PPR ....
its depends from officer to officer how he/she process your file.
I think some officers work according to guidelines they got
some work according to their way.

In 2013 They use to keep passport for 4 months now they are giving back in 15 days

Okay Spreadsheet is now up to date We have asked many old Jan and Feb Applicants About their Status Personally Who left us without knowing US and We got 11 reply and most of them were waiting for PR Card in Canada

Good Morning I have added you in Spread/Excel Sheet...Earlier I use to hate Monday because of job and love Sunday because of Holiday but now its kind of opposite ....because visa officer also dont work on sunday..!!!!!!!!

Its not like that I have taken over I have got 3G internet and everything is possible through this samsung note phone....like editing excel sheet
All credit goes to the Kan_Sari who made logics and formulas in excel sheet...he seems like from computer programming like me and taken care of this sheet for us....god bless him

i m a permanent resident in canada, i m getting married in december. so could u guys plz let me know if its better to apply for visa in december or in january for my wife?? applying in 2015, will the processing time gets reduced?? any suggestions..

It depends on you but I will suggest to stay for a while with your wife after marriage even if you have before marriage proof of relationship,like pics or some other proofs.The process for current application is fast even for 2015 applicants it will be more faster...its does not really matter....embassy is not following or processing applications according to submission date

Well if student Visa Applicants was really a factor in slowing down our process then, today is the last date to submit student visa application and NDVO take aroung 14 days average to complete application....so by 10th of December our process may get faster....I have checked embassy holidays of NDVO only 25th Dec ,31st Dec and 1st of Jan 2015

What are you so freaking out?
Those people get Re-Medical letter whom they are not communicatig face to face
You don't understand this simple thing
You have passed the interview but your wife medical is expired...now you tell me the difference b/w medical and remedical ....he also told you for passport and clearly said to submit remedical
Now what you want him to shout on you( I am Kidding )
Do THIS
Call any doctor which is in the list of canada medical authorised doctor or from where go got last time....he gave you your wife passport back because medical cant be done without it

Follow the complete process of medical...medical is same as re-medical you don't need any letter to do it..just tell the reception wanna do medical for Canada immigrant

Buy A4 Size Enovelpe
Write one cover letter from your wife side
Put your wife medical receipt in it
And put your wife passport
Ask VFS if they can handle it or shoot the courier man

You are saying by yourself that what interviewer said and instead of doing it asking in this forum what to do....do medical and Send passport,medical receipts, and cover letter Why you feeling miserable ....Everything is done man.....they cant issue you visa with expired medical this is the rule which they have to follow...its just a formality...when your medical will completed doctor or hospital whatever will give you one document with some number or barcode on it and through there system they will send medical to canada embassy...when embass will receive your medical number including ( passport and envelope) they will put that number on computer and match to get the print of medical and attach to the file

The thing is i called 2-3 doctors to book appointment for medical they r asking me if I received letter or no they r saying they can not do medicals without leter of remedical
