Hi,

Today i have received ppr request through e-mail, it says to submit the ppr to new delhi office visa office, but it has given a link to the vfs global for sending it. i am confused as the VFS site states to send service charge for application handling. i am not sure what is the right process and steps.

can anyone please send me details instructions on how to send and what to send with fee details, i live in hyderabad.

My file was in process for over 6 weeks, and my spouse had no travel history. So, I convinced my MP to look in to the problem. Not sure whether he did or not, but after 3 day I got my DM and PPR. So guys do not lose hope and go for MP enquiry as it surely helps

you got to find a VFS office that is close to you and submit the requested documents (passport, pictures and the email). The fees is about INR.1055. this is an approximate. Its for the processing, courier back to your house and then SMS information. VFS is only way to send your passport.

what additional docs requested???

I had not submitted my pictures with the date and place stamped so I had to get them clicked again and they asked for my husbands option c form....my lawyer had missed that out!

Hello, are you talking about the passport size photos? Do we need to stamp the date and place on them?

hi shreya, r u talking abt the passport size pics sent after PPR? i had submitted my passport via VFS, i think they asked me to write my name...dont remember if they asked to write the date

As per the instructions we need to send 6 passport photos with the application.

I need to know that, what is to be written at the back of the photographs, i read somewhere that name and date of birth needs to be written, is it true? and with which form the envelope needs to be attached 5669 or 5406?

Hello all. Its been awhile since i posted something here.

First off..... PRAISE GOD! Got my ppr tdy. So relieved. Was so tensed and nervous almost gave up when everyone around my dates were getting their DM's and ppr's.

Tdy afternoon i got the email from NDVO. My heart stopped beating. I was stuck for a min. Couldn't not believe it. PRAISE HIM!!!

My Ecas has not changed as yet. But................

This is the first half of the email i received, following this was the procedure to send the passport.


Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to subject’s application for permanent residence in Canada.



A permanent residence visa for subject has been issued and it is valid until 19 March 2015. Kindly follow the instructions (letter given below) to submit his original passport.



We trust that this information will be of assistance.



Does this mean i Got DM ???? And they r yet to update my ECAS?
